Well, I finally had some time to sit with one of my metal lathes. Grabbed some Brass stock, and played around for a while. Tell me what you think of these Caps!

If you all like those, they most likely won't be in production for another couple of weeks, especially the nickel plated version. I could take pre-orders, but I'm not big on that idea. Tell me if I should do something like that.

The nice thing about the caps I'm using now is that the sensor is countersunk below the raised caps, meaning you can lay it flat without the sensor ever touching the surface when it rolls. With this new type of cap, you don't have that clearance. Though, when it rolls, the rubber part of the sensor does stop it before it ever can roll onto the sensor itself. If I turn the cap larger, it wouldn't give a sleek look at all.

"I ordered it in alluminum with brass caps in the 5 volt version, which uses 2 rcr123a batteries, I have a ton of these around" he pokes around at his desk and pulls a couple batteries out "these I just charged up" he unscrews the bottom cap "nice feel there, I like it" batteries in "thats nice n ez, good craftsmanship" he produces a atomizer "this is a new 510 atty, my favorite atomizer" blows it out, wipes it off. "it screws on nice, nothing to it" He then produces a stainless drip tip and puts it on. "I cant wait to see how it vapes" he drops a couple drops in does the bloated frog impression, and blows out a nice plume of vape. "I love that juice, and it really is good through the Saber" "the switch on this is so ez its almost too ez" as he looks at it giving it a thorough look over. "its different than any switch I've seen on any mod that I have, and I have them all' and he grins, pleased with himself for having the best. "This mod comes in 3.7/6volt or a 5volt regulated. It is available in just about any color, all powder coated nothing to worry about there." Another big froggy vape, more plume, and again, "oh man thats good" The switch is so ez to use, its the safest mod available too!" He smiles again, hes a pretty happy guy today. He inspects it closely and displays it for the camera (close up, blurry shot) "This is my first time using it, but I like it!" Big froggy again, Tons of vapor, the nice guy is hard to see now. "I got to go now so go check out the Saber at vapermoon.com, this might be the last mod that I get, I think its that good" and he settles back into his chair for another froggy vape and forgets about the camera, and faids away.

I was just fooling around, killing time. I've never had one in my hand. I think I need to add some camera angles and sound effects like a 'sizzle' at the mike. and some lights off the device sorta thing.

looks less like a water hose, more like a rounded Copper. Do they have any problems being to snug to come off with out extra help, like tools? Whats the bottom look like?
The bottom is milled totally flat and polished. It doesn't need any help unscrewing since it only has 3-4 threads to turn onto. It stays nice and tight until you want it to screw off. I've tried to tighten them as tight as I could, and still had no problem taking them off. And of course, the top is sealed! Here is a pic of the bottom...

I've been interested in a Saber Touch for awhile now, but I couldn't get past those end caps. They just didn't do it for me. Now, the new, machined caps are beautiful. They'll most likely have me reaching for my wallet in the near future..........the nearer the better. I want one now!
