I know but couldn't resist. I've got to wonder just how many early-bird VV you ultimately offered to make even before today when its now officially available. At least you'll have something to keep you busy for the next couple of days.

I finished turning and doing all the milling for the Purple Metallic VV's yesturday. Now, I just finished powder coating them. So, I hope to give them their First epoxy treatment this evening for the battery connector, then tomorrow I will put "the magic" inside and expoxy the whole insides. I get up in the morning and I feel like the Dunkin Donuts Guy... Time to make the donuts! For some reason, it seems like the Saber Touch has invaded Russia! In the past 2 days, I must have gotten at least 15 orders from there!
Out of curiosity what's the limiting factor on the powder coating, the time needed to coat them or the room in the oven/kiln to treat them or having enough turned tubes to coat? I know you've commented that the weather can prevent you from spraying anything.
Well, if it's too humid or raining, the powder just lumps up on the aluminum. I shoot 15 bodies at a time with one color. That's how many I can fit into my powder oven. Most color take about 10-20 minutes after the tubes heat up to 400F. Then Cooling down period... too fast, you won't get an even color. The long part is the set up of the color... and then cleaning everything spotless before moving onto the next color.
Last I heard, he was taking a break from this business until the end of the year.
OK we know you sprayed the Metallic Purple 2 days ago. What did you spray yesterday and today? Folks are waiting with baited breath yanno

Come on guys... After doing all of that, wouldn't it be nice to have them tested? It takes about 4-7 days to make one. That's if there are absolutely no other orders ahead of the one you ordered. Why do I bother to put down... "shipped within 7-14 Business Days"... even though I have to keep working all weekend as well?

They are in the testing stage right now... all looks great! They will start being shipped on Friday! So, that's only 5 Business Days! (Except international orders, which will be 7 Business Days!)
I'm sorry everyone... I got my days mixed up... lack of sleep I guess. They will start being mailed out on Friday. I honestly though today was Wednesday.
I've really got to start pacing myself... I don't want to end up sick again.
They are in the testing stage right now... all looks great! They will start being shipped on Friday! So, that's only 5 Business Days! (Except international orders, which will be 7 Business Days!)

Sorry ta get ya flustered but it all was in gentle fun. Trouble is hard to convey that in text sometimes. Figured since I asked for something extra it'd be end of next week at the soonest anyways. Considering how many I'm guessing you eventually had to make I'm impressed you got so far with so many that you can get them going out so quickly.

I know you were just kidding! LOL So was I! But really, it does take time to make one individually to order, since I have so many options.
Hopefully, you will have them by Monday! (but you know the USPS!)
I can't wait until you all have the Saber Touch VariVolt in your hands! It really is an amazing mod. I have over 60 of them going out by Saturday, to all ends of the world! My Sabers are seeing places I've only dreamed of going... maybe one day I will.....
