Don't they carry a higher resistant micron wire for your rebuildable atty?

The kanthal is actually stronger and more heat resistant than nichrome. So if I'm popping kanthal...nichrome doesn't stand a chance. I'm thinking the high power upgrade might have a minor part in it. A friend is using a VV mod @ 5.2v with a 2.4ohm kanthal coil on the same set up as mine and is working fine.

I have over 100ft of kanthal....so I'm going to test out different ohms and configurations to try to make it work.

High Powered throws out a lot more amps, and does your friend have the High Powered also? I have heard that vapers are having a lot of issues with those rebuild-able atomizers, because of user error when they try rebuilding them. Try rebuilding one at higher ohms, and make sure it's not shorting out first on it's own with a tester.

Not sure about the others....but I have been using nothing but for 8 months at 3.7v. Never had any issues since learning the tricks.
However...this is my first ever 5v mod, so it's like starting over. I have made coils from 3.5ohm to 5 ohm and so far nothing has worked....but that was before talking to my friend...who is using a Provari. That's when I got to thinking that it might have something to do with the HP setup. I just tried it with another tank that has a 2ohm coil...and it didn't pop, but would glow very quickly. So to me that is progress...and I'm getting close!

Finally got my wick and and coil worked out....so I am running my Gtank on my 5V ST!

And as fast I got it working....it stopped working again. It has to be the high power option putting out more amps....oh well. Im going to put this one in the classifieds, and then order a VV without the high power option. :)
