Hey ST owners or potential owners,

Just wanted to share my review. I received my Saber Touch VariVolt High Power Option about a week and a half ago.

1-10 scoring

Craftmanship 8 (would give 10 but my "limited edition rings" weren't even depth wise, initially bothered me, but would I would
still get the rings if I could change my mind somehow)

Customer Service 11 (yes that's an 11, Sir Lawrence's availability, response time, and efforts were unmatched)

Product Functionality 10 (freakin awesome using Smoktech XL Clear Dual Coil Cartomizer @ 5 v, I do recommend the HP
option)

Delivery Time 8 ( In my case, SL went the extra mile to get mine here, I'd give details but I don't want to obligate Sir
Lawrence to do it with everyone, basically I had some requests and he was able to accommodate and get
it here ASAP. Also, since each one is custom made, it won't ship out instantly, realize that)

If you are concerned about the fact that the ST is a bit bigger than some less powerful mods out there, you have to decide if power is what you want. I don't think there's any way to get this kind of performance in a smaller mod. That being said, I have been using this thing everywhere (at home, in public.) It is not the same as carrying a small mod, but it's not a huge deal, it's worth carrying a mod that's a little heavier\bigger in order to get some serious vape on wherever u go. I suppose if your concerned about having something less noticeable in certain situations like formal events, you could have a ego or something like that to hold you over.

Recommendations to potential buyers: Get the VV HP mod, I'm sure all mods are great, but I'm glad I sprung the extra dough to be able to vape however I might want to in the future. It IS important to be able to tweak the voltage if you'd prefer something a bit stronger or weaker. This can be done with different resistant atomizers but it's better to just have VV, and you would spend the price difference experimenting anyways. That being said, lol, I currently am vaping my dual carto at 5v and loving it. I like to have options and will always be experimenting. -- Also, if you don't have a voltage tester and are getting the VV, the one he sells is great and preferable to a multimeter in most situations.

Bottom line - if you want performance, get one

Hope this helps. I'm sure I'll think of something else I could have said right after I hit send ;) If you have any questions let me know.

OK lol, I thought of something! Big surprise, it never fails.

-- In deciding whether or not to get a VV, realize that the warranty is much shorter. This makes sense of course, considering the VV has a hole with a potentiometer (sp? correct term?) After some experimenting you'll find your favorite settings for whatever combo your using, don't mess with it all the time and don't drop it in the water (hole) and you should be ok. The warranty for VV is 90 days I think and I believe the other mods have a 5 yr limited warranty. Big difference, so consider that. I did find the website somewhat confusing, thoroughly review all the pages so you are aware of everything before you order! I made some mistakes, luckily Sir Lawrence was awesome and it all worked out.

Oh, and you never have to worry about any liquid getting in the "hole" where you make the voltage adjustments... that's totally sealed as well.

I'm going to be extending the Warranty on the Saber Touch VariVolt. It has been really tried and tested and I feel that it will really last a lifetime if properly taken care of. I haven't decided how long the initial warranty on the VV will go up to, but will let you all know when I post it on my site.

I know my site can be very confusing... I just have so many options that can make each Saber Touch just the way you want it. If anyone should ever have any questions, you all know me, just email me at SirLawrence@VaporMoon.com and I try to get back to you ASAP.

I know what you mean.
But a half inch wide inset reservoir on the top cap is nice to have, to prevent juice running all over the place... Like using the eGo T which does leak.
I'm not sure how of if I'm going to intro that... lot of work involved, but a nice feature.

I don't have leaking issues with any of my tanks, so I wouldn't need it personally. I like it the way it is....

Maybe just a another option? Stay with the theme of the site...everything else is optional, which gives everyone the chanceto customize to fit their style of vaping. :) only place you can get that...is with your mods or the high dollar custom wood mods.

Anyone had experience flying with a saber touch? I'm going to Cali on the 23rd for Thanksgiving and wondering how I should do this. I will have a carryon bag and a checked bag. I don't think they cover electronics in checked bags though.

You won't have any issues carrying on any mods, Matt. Just lay everything out on the tray when you go through the security checkpoint. Keep your liquids in a Ziploc back (quart size), batteries and attys, cartos, drip tips... You'll be just fine.

Have fun in your travels ;-)
