I just got a major setback...
My nickle plater just informed me has has to more than triple my cost per cap to have nickel plated. I hate to have to raise the cost of the nickle caps... so I'm trying to find other companies that will do a good job for me. I can't offer nickle plating if I'm loosing money on it. I'll keep you all informed as to what's going on.

Wow, did he give you a reason for the increased price? Is the price of nickel skyrocketing? The nickel caps are such a perfect finishing touch to your works of art.
See, he has his guys doing the plating on weekends. Since his power was out this past weekend, they had to catch up on plating during the week. He timed how long it took to do just 100 caps for me. He said he was loosing money based on the shop time it took to do those. So, he is now basing everything for the actual time his shop uses. He doesn't realize that when I deliver caps on the weekends to his guys, they will sit there for an hour just talking with me... wasting "Shop" time!
I haven't raised prices on the Saber in 3 years. Even though all prices for me have gone up on everything... Aluminum stock, brass stock, electrical components, etc. But nothing has yet to "Triple" in price, so I just compensated for the higher costs.

Have you looked into a small nickle plating vat for yourself? Might be worthwhile to have everything done in house!! Not sure what the going rate is now though. Just a thought.
I'm working on that while we speak! And now I will also need to make more room in my shop for pretty large vats!
I want to know when this Heat Streak is going to end! It's been over 100F on the east coast for days now!

And to think, Saber touch was the Very first mod I intended to purchase when I caught the fever, but unfortunately it took me QUITE some time to finally come around to them, but I did!! And now I have owned 5 of them!! My only regret...That I didn't buy the Saber WAAAAY sooner, it would have saved me a ton of $$$'s!!

Well said, Couldn't agree more! So glad my wife and I found the Saber Touch and Sir Lawrence when we did. We own 6 between us and love them all, and they are the only mods we use now. Nothing else compares for us.
Agreeing with previous posts. Have owned several for quite some time now. Bought a couple thru the classifieds when I was new and had no idea what I was doing. Then bought a new beauty thru Sir Lawrence. Now they're all I use with a pass thru. Or, batteries when I'm out. These babies have saved me a lot of money. Sturdy, will last a lifetime, never a fail. I can't say enuff good things about em and Sir Lawrence, of course! Thanks for a quality product!!!

Hey Thanks all!! I've been drippan' on the Kicked Saber all night trying out Various flavors from a company that just opened up the next town over. Got to tour their juice making laboratory today, and I was Quite impressed. They even made me the juice to order right on the spot!! Nothing beats dripping on the kicked version with a trusty Ikenvape 901! Performance, performance, performance!!!
