So I've been vaping Dekang PG since July 7th, 2009. I typically mix 24mg with 0mg nic so I'm somewhere around a 12mg nic level. I may adjust up or down depending on the throat hit I'm looking for. A throat hit, BTW is an absolute requirement. I vape watermelon and peach.

I'm going to order from VaporRenu and looking to see if anyone has suggestions on the formula to order.

Sure, it's great that VaporRenu gives you the ability to tailor your mix, until you're unhappy with your order and it's all your own fault!

I'm looking for a similar amount of throat hit, flavor, and vapor.

Can anyone suggest a formula? IE Flavor Boost, Nic Density, and Throat Hit.

Thanks!

I read lots of reviews. Too many, lol. Just from reading them this is what I can tell you. Vapor Renu is not gonna come close to BwB!!! The throat hit isn't gonna be very good. The flavor won't be very strong. No matter how u tailor the mix. I won't order from them from what I've read. Now, there are people who absolutely love them. Who don't seem to have these problems. Those stories are few and far between the stories of people dumping the juice down their toilets, lol. The way I logic it out..... If their juice were worth a crap they would charge more for it. It's cheap therefor so is the quality....

I agree. I just tried a raved vendor and was disapointed. My main juice will always be vapor renu. I emailed Jason about making a special blend of applewood with menthol. Plus applewood plain. He said he would get his mixers to try it and place it on the board. Of course, this may take some time...I never get disappointed with VR. '

I like the renu custom blend and 80/20 for something completly different. Flavors that I like are usually all the menthol flavors.
I have tried the swedish fish=yummy but I ordered in in 16mg to try=gave it away on pif. 24-36mg is what I like. The regualar chocolate was not a hit with me...pif that one as well. I really liked the havana, honey wood menthol, east coast, renu4 menthol. Flavors that recently got bumped in my roation 555 menthol, westcoast menthol, and other vendors juice. Yes I do try the others as well.

Earllier today I almost passed out from vaping TW's salem I just obtained.(36mg). Very different. However, if it was on sale again I would buy it.

Ever gotten any TH from thier juice?

No, absolutely no throat hits from six different bottles, and I ordered aggressive TH on all of them. The flavors were weird, too. Nothing like what I've received from other suppliers. It was like there was no nicotine added...or the grain alcohol ruins the juices. Don't know, but I'd rather pay more and get quality juices.

Same here.
Very unsatisfying vape for me.
Also, the nic content is supposed to be 36mg but I don't feel feel like I'm getting it.
Vaping it makes me feel like I need to smoke a cigarette.

Since my order they have added "triple shot" flavor and "ultra aggressive" throat hit.
I don't think that will help, because triple and ultra times nothing is still nothing.

If anyone has tried these new options please respond.
I really wanted this company's juice to work for me

here are my feelings that i expressed in another thread:

IMO, the flavors from VR are great, but something is NOT right with the liquid. every liquid i get from them has NO throat hit, and also when i taste the liquid to my toungue, it doesnt seem to have that burning taste/feeling. also does not satisfy me whatsoever. but it does taste great..... i have speculated that there is little to no nicotine in their liquid.

i have other "american made" liquid that gives great throat hit, so its not just "the chinese crap"

i only use VR for their flavor concentrates.

the original question remains: why do they need to add PGA to the mix for TH, when others (including USA made nicotine liquid) do not?

I see no point in vaping if you can't get a throat hit.

My first DIY batch had plenty of throat hits without adding any PGA or anything else besides unflavored nic liquid, flavoring, PG, and VG.
I guess I should thank gawd, then, that you are not the arbiter of what a juice should be. For the same reasons cigarettes came in full, filterless, light, ultralight, not everbody likes a knock your socks off throat hit. Some of us like the vapor and burning the cilia off the larynx is unnecessary for us. The quality of the nicotine has a lot to do with the throat hit in addition to the specific flavors.

i highly doubt then quality of the nicotine has anything to do with TH. i would like to see some supporting evidence against this. please back up your claims

I said nothing about "being the arbiter of what a juice should be." I was talking about myself only and couldn't care less if you or anyone else prefers throat hits or not. That's why I specified "I" at the beginning of my sentence. It was simply my opinion regarding the reason why I like to vape. That's all. My comment had nothing to do with anyone else and why they like to vape. Are we not allowed to post our likes, dislikes, and opinions here without someone coming along and attacking us for doing so?

When you say "the quality of the nicotine has a lot to do with the throat hit," are you sure? Did you perhaps mean to say "the quantity of nicotine has a lot to do with the throat hit"? My experience has proven that the quantity of nicotine has a lot to do with the amount of throat hit, but that's just my opinion, based on testing different quantities of nicotine mixed in with the PG, VG, and flavorings. (I only have one bottle of nicotine at the moment, so I only have one quality of nicotine available to do this kind of testing.)
