1960s+computer.jpg

The computer was one of the biggest inventions of the 60's. The first computer in the 1960's took up a whole room, and was way too big for home or school use. Later in the 70's however, computers were being distributed to everyone who could afford it. The invention of the computer also lead to the inventions of video games, GPS, mini PC's and much more.

I had that, and the Creepy Crawler machine. The toys we had when we were kids were much more fun than the toys they make now.

Remember when TV was free, and you could bring a portable television set, and get at least one station almost anywhere there was electricity?

Yeah... the toys we had were truly "interactive" and encouraged kids to use their imagination!! Now all interactive means is to click on something on the computer screen... LOL!!

Even Legos come in kits now, with instructions as to how to assemble it into whatever it shows on the box... :(

And some TV is still 'free' (I don't have cable) but you need a converter box and a good antenna to pick up the channels, so the portable ones don't work anymore!!

You also have to live in an area where the signal will reach. No free TV where I live any more. A lot of people here bought into the converter box and better antenna hype, and all it did was cost them a lot of money.

We don't have TV anymore, but I don't really miss it.

I got this game when my class went for a tour of the Mattel factory out here. We all were given one at the end, but I'm not sure if it was ever released on the market... couldn't find out much about it online.
