vaporshark TSC coils for Nautilus clearomizers

Hi,

I am interested in TC and on the point of buying myself a new mod.
I exclusively use the Nautilus tanks as I love them alot.

Now the only TSC (temperature sensing coils) I can find for these tanks (in my region) are the once produced by Vaporshark. However on most of the webshops it comes with a big warning that they are only intended for Mods with a DNA40 chipset.(there are some that just say you need a TC device, but those are few).

This would mean I would be obliged to buy a high end mod like the Hcigar VT40. Apart from the pricepoint I also read the the DNA40 chipset still has some flaws (screen issues for example) which makes me want to steer away from these devices (as I think at this pricepoint they should work flawlessy).

So is this really the case, can they only be used with the DNA40 chipset? As far as I can see they are normal Ni200 coils, so in my opinion the should also be usable in other TC Mods.

Anyone ever used these in another TC device?

I think your assumption is very reasonable. The warning that mentions DNA40 is probably worded that way because of the way history has unfolded, with DNA40 devices being the main TC devices in town for a good while, and the number of DNA40 devices that vaporshark sell.

The Nautilus ni200 coils will work fine on any TC device. The resistance comes in at 0.15 ohms, so it will work with any TC mod currently out.

Yep. They'll work fine on any temp control mod. Incidentally, VapeOnly makes their own vAir-T ni-200 coils for the Nautilus. These are at 0.25 ohms vs the VaporShark 0.3 ohm coils. Lots cheaper, too. No blue o ring, though, so just be aware of that if you swap coils about.
