Small world, I grew up on various Air Force bases including four years at the Air Force Academy. Father retired as a Chief MSGT in Fort Collins. I live in Loveland.
5. Night of the Living Dead
The grandfather of all Zombie movies. Without Romeos classic there would be no Walking Dead, no Evil Dead, no animated dead hordes issuing in the apocalypse. Before Night of the Living dead zombies were a Haitian oddity, not really very menacing. They were living people enslaved by a powerful magician using mysterious powers and compounds. In some cases they were people raised from the dead but never en mass. Romeos vision revolutionized the zombie, turning it from a minor inconvenient into a global killer.
4. THE EXORCIST
This is one that almost has to be viewed in the theaters for full effect. The sound track has unearthly background noises, the video has fast, almost subliminal, flashes of demonic imagery. The film is a slow burning horror, showing the torturous change of an innocent young girl into a possessed pawn of Satan. Unsettling, disturbing, defiantly a film that you will think about long after watching. Excellent performances all around with a particularly good performance by the child actress Linda Blair. Usually kids in film are, at best, tolerable. She managed to turn in a very compelling piece of acting for one so young.
3. Trick R Treat
I love horror anthologies and this is arguably the best one ever made. Four or five different stories all interwoven, all happening on one particularly interesting Halloween night. Its become a much watch around this time of year, gets regular repeat play at my Halloween parties. If you have missed this one and enjoy horror films its a must see.
darkness falls is a fantastic movie
Its a fun fright flick that is pretty family friendly. Lots of jump scares, good action, but with very little violence or harsh language. Definitely an entertaining spin on the Tooth Fairy legend.
Suspiria is another pretty good one
Hmmm never seen it but it looks good. I usually like the director too. Not sure how I missed this one.
white zombie_first zombie movie made but a voodoo style. i love bela lugosi his looks can just give ya chills
Here we are last night at my husbands work party. I've never entered a contest and thought it would be fun to join in the fun!! I am still peeling the glue off my eyes from the eyelashes and my husband took forever to get all the junk off his head, but it was so much fun!!! BTW we are Jack skellington and Corpse Bride from Tim Burton's movies.

Great costumes! Reminder for the contest though, to prevent cheating, you must hold a card that says ECF or Vaportrailz.
