Variable Wattage/Temperature?

I am interested in buying a VT60 from Totally Wicked. It is not cheap. £84+ At the moment I am using a Odyssey E-Cig with a BDC atomizer with a 6.4 ml tank. At the moment I use Ultafire BRC18650 5000 mAh 3.7V li-ion batteries from China which cost me pence and seem to last fairly well. I also mix my own vape and save £££s doing that. I asked TW how much a replacement battery cost and how long it would last and was told battery life was about 6 months and the cost would be a complete replacement unit, i.e £80+ This seems very poor economy as I don't spend anything like that now on batteries. I know VW is meant to be superior to VV but is it worth the extra cost?
Can anyone tell me if a cheaper VW E-cig is available in the UK?

If you are worried about battery life, there are lots of vv/vw mods with 18650 batteries.just replace the batts, not the mod.
Oh, I thought all the technology was within the battery and a tank was fitted to the top!? As you may be able to tell, I'm not that technically minded!! I shall have to again, Google it and see what comes up but I like the idea of still using 18650 batteries. Anyway much obliged to every one, you have all been most helpful.

A mod is a battery box basically. The regulated mods have a chip ion them that controls output and other things. Some of them have internal batteries that you can not remove. When they go bad, you throw the mod away and get another one. Some you can put batteries in and take them out to recharge. When you shop, look for "requires 18650 batteries sold separately" in the description. If it says "LiPo" it's an internal battery.

Another post on here recommended the Dovpo tc50 which I have had a look at and it seems to fit my requirements exactly and uses 18650 batteries as you recommended. Thanks for explaining a "mod" to me and the differences. Much wiser now and I think every one has solved my problem and answered my original post. Cheers

Surprised noone noticed this. Do not use ultrafire they're a realy bad cheap brand. And i would consider them as unsafe even in a regulated mod.

Better invest in a pair of real good batteries such as sony vtc4/5. Or efest batteries if your vape is gonna draw less than 20A (efest is 20A not 35 as marketed)
Also i recommend you to read all of @Baditude battery bloggs, they're great! :)
