So, I decided a few months ago to step into the world of MODs. After a bunch of research (on here and elsewhere) I chose the Segieli ZMAX and found it at a very reasonable price at Varitube.com I had my shiny new MOD on MONDAY after I ordered it late Friday night. These guys ship FAST!
After about 6-7 weeks.. I noticed the button was not firing my device properly. I looked at the Varitube site and saw that the device had a 90 day warranty.. so I opened a support ticket on their system. Perry, (the owner?) told me to send it right ina nd he would either repair or replace the ZMAX. Hassle Free, wow. So I mailed the device back to him. The DAY he received it, he checked it out and saw the problem immediately and sent me a message through the ticket system letting me know what was up. He said he could repair it and would test it the next day. Sure enough, the device was shipped back to me the next day and was repaired fantastically! Perry even sent me an extra (newer/softer) battery cap spring for free! <-- Here is where it gets really good.
I thought to myself, "Hmm.. I wonder if I should use the extra spring to pad the other side of the battery since I have an extra one now??" I was tired and excited to have my ZMAX back... and didn't think that through. I put the spring in, battery in, and screwed on the end cap. SHORTED out the battery, which headed up and melted the springs, the top of the battery and melted into the PCB assembly and RUINED my freshly repaired ZMAX!!!
I emailed Perry again and told him what happened... of course it was 100% MY fault, not his.. but he knows I'd referred a couple friends to his site and felt bad for me. When I asked him if I ordered another ZMAX would he double check it before he shipped it.. he sent me a COUPON CODE to use! Not only did he give me a "pity discount", but he gave my new device a thorough once-over, wrote me a hand-written note describing what he did, and shipped it out the SAME day I ordered it!
This is ABOVE and BEYOND good customer service. Varitube.com and Perry will continue to get my business and the business of all my friends who vape. This vendor is AWESOME in pricing, fast shipping and customer service!! THANK YOU VARITUBE!
