Veco tank base seal

Greetings. I'm trying to figure out where I can get a replacement seal for a vaporesso Veco tank base. The seal that the base of the coil sits on against the base when screwed together. This one. Haven't had any luck finding it through the normal channels. Surely must be available somewhere since they get them to begin with.

Also, it's not a normal o-ring type seal. It has a funky "serrated" edge on one side.

You would think that would be right, and I've looked at those tank and seal kits several times, but that small seal does not seem to be serrated on one side like the one that came with my Veco tank. Maybe it's not supposed to be? This tank has always had a very minor but consistent leak.

I wonder if anybody else can verify that their seal looks this way. I can't imagine what purpose it serves to have this ridged, "serrated" type surface on one side of the seal unless it's intended to keep the seal from turning.
