Velvet Vapors Bear Claw

I ordered some VelvetVapors.com liquid and wanted to share my thoughts. I am new to this all - so I dont know all the acronyms and what not. So I will just explain best I can and hope its helpful to some folks.

I like to try and explain the whole experience, from the website to the actual product to be thorough. Here goes:

Vendor - VelvetVapors.com
Liquid - Bear Claw
Base - 50/50 Velvet Blend
Nicotine - 24mg/ml

Shopping - Web site is fairly straight forward, good presentation of information
Shipping - product came well packaged within reasonable time and rates
Communication - Very sparse. It would have been good to have a follow up email, or ability to check order status.
Account - when you login to your account, it looks like you didnt actually log in - it still presents you with a user/password box. However, it will show your name in the upper right hand side on login - if you dont notice this, you will keep trying to login after you have already logged in (Safari 5.0.5). Account doesnt do anything other than provide storage for your shipping address.

Gear tested on - 510 Joye standard atomizer, direct drip, ego battery

Now to the liquid itself! The aroma is excellent right in the bottle. Smells natural, no chemical or fake smells at all. The color is a light caramel in color. The coloring is natural, as VelvetVapors does not believe in adding coloring to any of their products.

I added 3 drops on a cleaned atomizer - and my first thought was "Holy Smokes - this is incredible!!" its warm tasting, with notes of butter, icing, light cinnamon. Its not overly sweet, but more balanced as you would taste if you were eating an actual bear claw - sweet balanced by the nutty warm flavors of dough, icing, cinnamon, and buttery rich icing. Absolutely Delicious!!!

I want to order a big bottle of this stuff now. If there was some way to take a bakery, and get the delicious warmth of the oven just opened full of amazing bear claws, miniaturize it and put it in a vapor - Velvet Vapors hit it spot on.

Summary - The juice is absolutely fantastic in my opinion, I would not change a thing with it if I could! Well, other than making more magically appear right now...
I will definitely be ordering more!

Nice review. I agree with all of it. They have some great flavors and I think Bear Claw is one of them. If you like Bear Claw, you'll no doubt like Snickerdoodle. I promise.

Velvet Vapors is one of the new companies that seem to really "know how" to make juice. No bad ones... no weird perfumey tastes.
Well balanced, light, bright...

there's so much to choose from in quality ejuice vendors today, makes your head spin... in a good way.

And any company that has Peanut Butter, and Snickerdoodle on their menu, which are really great, along with so much more, ... is gotta be great.

I'm also happy to find a review on her Bear Claw as I'm considering sampling it.

Velvet Vapors is my go-to vendor. Website, packaging, delivery, it's all there.

I agree with most everything you've mentioned, the login fields visibility issue on the web site is confusing (should be easily corrected?), however what I don't understand is your statement about communication "Very sparse"? I always get 3 emails after I've ordered. I've noticed all 3 come from different addresses (i.e. orders@ kat@ and another from her payment service [receipt])...perhaps check your spam folder for those?

huh... i got some snickerdoodle in my sampler. don't remember the order but now that i got to the site again, i see NO snickerdoodle...are they out?

oh well, i have a new source to cover that one (Theecig.com Sin A Bun... fabulous)...

but I love the way VV presents its sampler choices ... and bottle sizes, 3, 6, 10, and up...

tons of flavors.

Said 'screw it', and ordered a full 30 mL bottle of Bear Claw.

Also, just noticed the issue mentioned:

...has been promptly corrected (perhaps due to this review?) and no longer displays the login boxes after successfully logging in. That's attentive customer service.

Oh yeah: ukeman -- I asked Kat about this via email and she replied within like 12 hours advising me (hope she doesn't mind my quoting her): "The manufacturer is out of (or not selling) some of the flavoring I use for it... I’ve been backordered forever…I’ll give them a call today and see what’s going on. They were having problems with it shipping during the cold weather, but that seems to be over now."

Her Snickerdoodle is extremely good.

Wow - this is all great to hear! I am having a difficult time deciding on the 30ml size that I want to get from their site myself - although I am 99% sure it will be the bear claw. Even after all this time, its still the favorite of the batch I got from them - and they are all pretty darn good.

So the follow up - Still very good! I really enjoy the taste, and it has not got less... Yummy? At any rate, as described by my highly technical yummy statement - it is still very enjoyable, and I am hoarding the last few drops until I can afford to order more. The taste has not changed in any bad way - perhaps a bit more of the rich butter flavor coming out some more.

Sadly, I have purchased some bear claws in the store and they dont taste as good as this - thats the only drawback so far...

Recieved an order today from Velvet Vapors. of course the Bear Claw, Raspberry Gingerale, and Buttered Popcorn.All 3 flavors are spot on right out of the mailer. very tastey,plenty of vapor all are 18mg. using a standard 510 atty on a Phidias. will be ordering more from them in the future. good stuff!

I think i have to have a bottle of their butterscotch... it is even better steeped... but i did a review on it and it is very good, and very unique... bright, light, and reminds me of a Werthers candy.

could be the best butterscotch out there... but then it could be that other butterscotch's have had some issues and this one is good because VV does so many so good... like Peanut Butter, Snickerdoodle, and...

but you know? that's it... there's just too many really good flavors (and from other vendors)... it's just too decadent these days if you know what i mean.
