I generally agree. Usually vendors like that have a few winners amongst otherwise mediocre offerings and it's a pain to play the role of guinea pig.

Exactly. To me it's like eating at a restaurant with a huge menu. There's probably a few gems but the restaurant is probably average at best.

I actually think the opposite of MBV.

You're entitled to your opinion.

MBV was one of the first companies I ever bought juice from, and I keep returning for thug juice/hawk sauce. I've tried a handful of their flavors, but only like a minority of the handful. But really, that's to be expected if there are a lot of options.

Vaping Rabbit, on the other hand, only offers.. what.. 5 flavors? And they're all basically the same thing. And the price tag is ridiculous. And the juice is chock fulla potentially harmful stuff. And in my opinion, the juices don't even taste that great! So I mean, it's your prerogative, whatever you wanna do.

You shouldn't judge a company based on the "number of flavors" that are on its menu, just like you shouldn't judge a restaurant by the number of items on its menu. Ever been to Lotus of Siam in Las Vegas?

So you think having to wend your way through tons of mediocre stuff to find the gems is a good thing?

That's how all things are.

I can either pay 50$ for about 10-12 different bottles of juice from MBV, or I can pay 50$ for 2 different bottles of juice (which are practically the same, in terms of flavor profile) from Vaping Rabbit. If I don't like the 2 flavors from the expensive juice company, I have made a rather large mistake. If I like 3 out of the 12 flavors from MBV and can vape them all day, it's not a failure. I now know what to order more of next time.

The odds of finding a juice you don't like, and having to "wade through the crap", is just part of the struggle with anything that is based solely on personal preference. Not everything is gonna be good, and if I can find the things that I believe ARE good at a cheaper price, I'm going to do so.

I've tried a LOT of the "premium ejuices" and most of them aren't up to snuff. I'd rather get a variety of flavor profiles and different potential flavors to pinpoint what exactly I'm looking for. Among other things, most "premium" companies seem to focus heavily on cream/custard flavors (and I'm not just talking about Vaping Rabbit.. See: Cosmic Fog, The General, Cuttwood, etc) and that .... just grosses me out. In my opinion, I got a similar profile from all the vaping rabbit flavors, and I have tried them all. They all leave me with that custard/creamy feeling, and it reminds me of soy milk.

Are we actually about to get into a debate over what juices I should enjoy, and why I should enjoy them? Hop off your high horse. I can't hear you from up there.

idk man, I thought everything I've had from MBV was pretty ballz

I agree if you just had to the roll the dice with "premium" juices it would stink, but fortunately I don't exactly have that problem. between the vape shops around me in a 50 mi radius, there are quite a large number of premium juices I can try without spending a nickel

I've tried a LOT of juices in my year and several months of vaping. While there are some good "premium" juices (and really, what is "premium" other than a price tag/"limited availability"/arbitrary and unfounded statements about the quality of ingredients) Hawk Sauce and Thug Juice from MBV remains my go-to and stand-by juice of choice. If Vaping Rabbit offered a juice that specifically met my personal preference, I'd buy that juice. If it was better than the other stuff I've tried, I'd buy the crap out of it. Also, I don't know why Vaping Rabbit became my example, but it works.

I buy juice from Bombies too, and Nicoticket, and they have more limited selections of juice. If Bombies offered a larger selection, I'd try their other juices and potentially buy them on a regular basis. As it is, there's only one flavor from Bombies I really enjoy (Blackout City), and it's worth the slightly higher price in my eyes.

Idk, it comes down to personal preference, and generalizing by saying "large menu = worse quality overall" seems kind of silly. Odds are, there's a juice by MBV that you'd enjoy, but haven't tried.

I think making a shorter list of juices can increase revenue for a company (per juice), while augmenting the customer base somewhat. Look at Gemini/Phillip Rocke. I bought a bottle of "Creme de la Creme" on it's limited run, and I haven't really enjoyed it. I bought it on faith that it was gonna be good, and there was no opportunity to try it before buying it (since it's limited run, no stores were stocking it). If I had tried it, I wouldn't have bought it. The description of the juice (aged in barrels etc.) and the fact that it was limited run/"premium" is what enticed me to buy it. But then, it wasn't very good.

So I dunno. It's preference, and it's all somewhat arbitrary.

I waited tables at a high end restaurant for 5 years. I'm also quite the chef. Vaping rabbit is an amazing company. All of their flavors are complex and high quality and at $18 for 30ml with free shipping you really can't beat it. I think you've been Vaping too much MBV man.

I get the impression that MBV has good management that requires quality in ways. Maybe not the niche artisans that some small juice makers are. But, they are a good deal on the money side. When I order from them, I get 2-3 that I know that I will enjoy and 1-2 that I am guessing at. Last week I got 2 ice tea flavors and then asked if I could get the third one that they have as a sample. In the end I will know which is the best and they know that I will probably be a repeat customer.

I do that with the plain fruit flavors, too. Find 3-4 raspberries, and try them out. I record all of my purchases and grades. I figure that when I am 105yo, I will have MY best flavors figured out. Its a hobby.

So basically you're saying you want Vaping rabbit to make a flavor that is grape Kool aid with menthol. There's a reason they don't make that flavor. But you should try the pelican by them seems to fit your profile.

What is the reason? I'll answer that: Because by keeping their juice limited to the 5 or 6 that they have, they can charge more per bottle. Also I've tried the Pelican (I've tried the entire line), and it has the same custardy/creamy notes that I can't stand (I call it the "diketone flavor").

Also what is "quality"? Are you saying the ingredients used in Vaping Rabbit are better than their competitors? That's both unfounded and illogical. Everyone's using essentially the same thing to make their juice, just in different combinations.

For all you know, MBV has a liquid that is equivalent or BETTER than a Vaping Rabbit flavor, and you'll never know it because you've written them off as a bad company. Part of vaping is the enjoyment of trying flavors, good and bad. With limited lines though, you can't enjoy the variety, and are actually less likely to find a juice you enjoy. "They can't all be winners" I suppose, but if you're looking for a straight-blueberry flavor, no frills, MBV has that, and Vaping Rabbit does not.

By keeping their juice limited to 5 or 6 means they can just focus on those and perfect them. Vaping rabbit is much higher quality, to think otherwise is ludicrous.

I enjoy everything by Vaping rabbit and I haven't had anything by MBV that I've enjoyed (with the exception of peach rings but how can you really screw that up) so that in itself proves your argument invalid.

Higher price, and even better flavor, does NOT equal higher quality juice. You're buying a name, a bottle design, whatever.

Unless you're lab-testing these juices and confirming that the ingredients used in them are somehow superior to those ingredients used in MBV juice (and given the presence of diketones in Vaping Rabbit, I can't possibly see that as being true) you have no idea what "quality" it actually is. You're paying for a name, a fancy bottle with a wax-sealing, a "limited run". You're a perfect consumer. Congratulations?
