Is there any problem with the VERIFICATION PROCESS ? I heard that, due to private problems, the moderator responsible for it is not checking the applications. Is that true ? Any chance of a substitution ? Thanks,

I don't know why, but fwiw, I too went through the process last week and i've heard nothing. Not complaining, just reporting.
Verification took a week for me, that was almost 2 weeks ago.

Oh, it's manual? Is that why my avatar isn't showing up yet? No biggie for me, but curious. 
I can't wait to get to the classifieds..not that I have any money to spend. I'm just excited to check it out.
I put in my application yesterday, and there was a note saying the person will be spending much time at the hospital with a sick family member. I got the idea he won't be able to do any for a while. No hurry, but I'm just itching to get a peek at the classifieds!

It took around a week for me (and that was within the past couple weeks). You just need to be patient.
I looked at the process but I don't use ebay and I am not going to give my bank aact info to pp.
Seems like this process would be simpler if ECF had a paypal account and you paid them a dollar or became a supporter to become verified. I'm assuming your real name is shown to the payor when you make a payment. This also assumes that your PP email is the same one you used to register here.

Well, I did it though PayPal 1 week ago. It seemed to work fine. I became a supporter using PayPal too. This should suffice to verify me, I guess... The major problem is to have just one person in charge... I do not know if they did not get enough volunteers to help them out, though...

it is a lot of work and, ideally, j0ker would have a backup for emergencies. since that is not the case atm patience is needed
