I'm not sure I'm posting this in the correct place but I didn't see a better one. My Better Half tried to become "verified" according to the policy we found on the forum but after 6 weeks nothing. No yes, no no. So, I thought I would give it a try. I did the E Bay thing. I have 68 positive feedbacks & 0 neutral or negative in the last year. I sent the message I was supposed to over a week ago & still nothing. I but ALOT of vaping stuff & would like to check out what is available on the forum but can't. WHAT GIVES ????????

J0ker is the only one that does verification. He usually does those on Sunday nights. Since he is the only one (to protect members information) it sometimes takes a while depending on how many he has to verify.

Assuming she has a different user ID on ECF - have you just looked at it? If she was verified it would show on her Settings page, Profile page, or in her status lines on all posts - even the old ones. (Like is says on mine.) Once the verification is completed there is no notification sent out - it just shows up in your status.

Things that can contribute to Verification problems: If you are trying to use her PayPal user account and the e-mail address on file for her is in conflict with the e-mail address you have on file here. Or simply registering with ECF under one e-mail address while your PayPal account has a different e-mail address.

I know who his wife is and I did check her avatar/profile. It is not there.

First you have to read the first paragraph of the instructions: (namely the underlined)

NOTE - The verification process is NOT immediate and are handled manually. Due to the increase in activity in real life during the work week, verifications will no longer be processed on a daily basis. I will attempt to process verifications during the week, as time permits. If unable to process during the week, request will be processed on the weekends, usually on Sunday night. Your request was received on September 23rd, so you would have received the PM from me Sunday September 28th. So if you sent your reply through ebay late on the 28th or after the 28th, that would mean your request would be completed the following Sunday which is October 5th. October 5th is tomorrow and this is when you should expect your request to be completed. This is also explained in the PM you are sent, see below:
