Choke off the airflow a little bit for 26ga.

I did a 28ga 1ohm horizontal chimney build on mine, with the coil as close to the air hole as I dared, and the wick acting as a sealer. Glorious flavor, but the wick was very finicky. Might retry it down the road with some KGD, using rayon threads around the outside ot keep things in place.

A lot of people like a single horizontal coil, but all my horizontal builds had hot leg issues. I get a much better vape with verticals. I run mine around .23ish. I change the wire gauge depending on the juice. Used 20g up to 6 strand 30g parallel single coil. All have a great vape, but the Veritas atty does not like chain vaping with the larger wire. I find with this hot of a build, it is best to have the top tail of the wick tucked like the pics. The top tail is not touching the coil. Like that the wick has no problem keeping up.

These builds give me much better flavor then the magma.

Starting on the left its a 2 strand parallel with 24g, dual 24g, and a 4 strand parallel 28g. All kanthal builds using a 3/32 drill bit.
