It doesn't help that one of the sponsors is on the Human Services Committee.

This group needs to get a loud and clear message from vapers everywhere.

I love VT and have spent the summer there for over 50 yrs. Along with the summer folk, skiers and leaf peepers add a lot to the VT economy. Feel free to let them know where the money won't go anymore.

In 2011 vermont go 2.3% of it's state and local taxes combined from tobacco taxes. That's in the top 10 of all the states. (My state, Michigan, is 2.7%) Yesterday I read a news story about a vermont company that make eliquid and may be the oldest american company doing that. Vaping has `1 billion potential customers who spend $750 billion a year on tobacco. A lot of new vapetech companies are going to be formed to go after that market. The states that roll out the welcome matt might get the investment and the jobs. Perhaps not Vermont.

There is always hope. There was another wretched piece of anti e-cig legislation proposed last year that didn't go anywhere.

I sent messages off earlier today and actually got a response back from 1 already - a quick personal thanks for the info, not a canned response.

I told my story and why I believe this bill is wrong. Please add your voices!

That was the one that tried to criminalize possession of vaping products, right? Man, I'm glad that one didn't go through . . . I'm not in VT often, but every couple of weeks I pop over the border
