I haven't seen any mention of this site, so I'll post it here. This is the most accurate coil building calculator I've found. Spot on for all my builds. The site is steam-engine.org. Every once in a while the site gets a little hokey, but a quick F5 refresh usually resolves it. Like if you find this post useful.

Surprisingly accurate!

I put in 26g, singe 3/32 coil, .7ohm, minimal leg length (it's on a kayfun) and it gave me 6.8 wraps. The current coil on my kayfun is 7 wraps at .72 ohm, so like I said, surprisingly accurate.

I checked to see how accurate it is with dualcoils, used my current Igo build dual coil. 26g, 3/32 coils, .41 ohm the calculator said 7.38 wraps, my coils are 8 wrap. I just guess on leg length through, so that probably threw it off a bit.

Overall I'm very impressed! I could see this being very helpful for some newer builders out there. Thanks for posting!

Yup absolute Genius!!

I use it a lot for after ive done a build with various strands so I can see what im using the equivalent to, I just put me Ω and id, marry up the coils to what im using & bam!
