VERY concerned! Battery charging question

I just read something that gave me the impression that charging a battery that is not totaly dead, could hurt your battery. Something about battery memory?

Am I hurting my bats if I charge them when they're not dead?

Sorry for my newbishness, but I don't want to ruin a bunch of new bats.

yeah cell memory was from old styles of battery technology mainly Nicds.

And these batteries are actually regulated. They won't over-discharge because they're regulated to cut off (when the LED flashes three times) before that point. I believe that's true of all LiPo KR808 batteries.

I constantly charge my reg kanger kr8's before they are dead, cus the draw gets annoing when they are low.. Your telling me that hurts them?

Not at all. Lithium ion and lithium polymer batteries love partial charges. They prefer them actually. I would completely discharge them at least once a month though as it helps keep the batteries capacity healthy.

OK I'm confused. I have heard about doing the full discharge once in while. Even my Iphone says to do a full drain once a month.
BUT, Frick says they are designed to shut down before they get to that point.
So after looking at this thing, how would you manually discharge it???

I'm thinking you just use it and use it until the LED starts flashing. That's when I consider it a gonner and put it on the charger.

Aye..consider the batteries shut off point as being fully discharged. If you try to go beyond that you will damage your batteries.

^ You can't go beyond that. The battery cuts off at that point and won't vape until charged.
