A question for the OP. Which coils are you using with the EVOD. The EVOD originally came with and used short stem coils. Kangertech within the last few months or longer, stopped making/selling those short stem in favor of the long stem protank coils as the protank coils work with the EVOD as well. My EVOD's used to leak and gurgle bad as well and I'd get more than a drop on the battery connection. It would flood that area and then start leaking out the air holes. Once I switched to the long stems, I never had a problem again with them.

Don't get too discouraged too quickly. The vaping world is still in it's toddler stage and the technology is only just now starting to get on it's feet, though it frequently falls flat on it's a**. I would recommend for most beginners who want an easy, all in one quality setup I would go with a Halo triton starter kit. There are of course better setups that can do a lot more, but if you want quality that will work and give you good flavor and vapor go Halo triton. As time goes on and if you feel you want to go bigger you can toy around with different mod's and tanks but at least youll have your halo kit as your trusty go to setup.

Being a newbie if you want a good tobacco flavor juice I'd recommend either heathersheavenlyvapes Shadow or ahlusion Smooth Criminal

What tank would you recommend me that will rarely ever leak? I was thinking of a ProTank but I have also heard that they do leak as well.

I loved the Evod when they first came out. But the leaking really bothered me. They would even start leaking at the window part.

Anyway, now I LOVE my Protank Mini II. It has NEVER leaked. Not a drop. Maybe I'm just lucky. Anyway, give it a try. I really doubt you will be disappointed.

I have used this set-up for going on 7 months and it works great if filled and maintained properly. The gurgling commonly comes from liquid or condensation built up in the stem of the mouthpeice. I roll up a paper towel end and run it all the way down to absorb the liquid and gurgling is gone. Condensation also builds up on the battery as well. Use paper towel to clean that out as well. The Kanger Evod is a great unit that performs well just requires a little getting used to.
