I haven't used a carto tank yet. I admit I LOVE the look of the Phinnys but for a first one I went with a cheap Boge F17. I figured try it on something cheap then if I like using a carto tank buy what I REALLY want!

Yup, that's what I did too. Bought a couple cheap plastic tanks to see if I liked them. I liked them. I really, really liked them.

Phiniacs are pricey but worth it. And they are much more forgiving when using punch-your-own cartos. Using their punch tool I can't even get the carto to fit in the plastic tanks (because of the slight distortion) but they fit in my Phinnies just fine.

Ahhh Vapemail... so exciting!!! Just got some today actually. A gemini drip tip that came all the way from australia... it was sold out everywhere else I looked. btw Phiniac... I don't own any, but from what I've heard, amazing and some of the strongest carto gripping tanks ever.

Yes, very strong grip. After first filling them they're pretty easy to twist around but after they've sat for awhile they are very tight.

Thanks for the tip on the tips :) I have some metal tips that I plan to use with my delicious caustic juices (I love the caustic stuff for some reason)

Although I have to say. We have used some caustic juices in tanks before we knew they were caustic and have not had a problem yet. I did only go 1 tank full of Apple Candy Cinnamon red hot in plastic though as I have heard that cinnamon is the worst!

Just to update my F17 came with my 5 boxes of cartos (I found a good deal). OMG I love this. It is the smoothest coolest most comfortable vape I have ever had. I think I might be hooked on carto tanks.

I know, right?

I enjoy the flavor and vapor from my RBAs and my Protanks are great but my cartotanks are still my go to all day vape. You just can't beat 'em.

What we need are rebuildable cartotanks (RCTs)....hmmm.
