I am sick and tired of the regular Stardusts and the myriad of problems they offer up. I clean them well, but they do lose flavor after some time without being able to replace the coil heads. Leaking is annoying as well, but can be manageable. Loved them at first, but the leaks are hit or miss from unit to unit, and the fact that you can't mod them and change coil heads is all I can take. I'm going to move on to bigger and better things. I have recently added the Phoenix BC's to the mix and love them, but they are not enough. Thinking about adding some mini Novas and the Evods. Besides these, I just cannot get away from the Stardust style clearos. I'm not interested in the carto tanks. Specifically in the Stardust style, I'm looking at the Vision Rebuildables (What is it with these damn things anyway? I like the vaoe I get from them when they are new...hence changeable coil heads being a nice feature). Are the T5's any better? Also, what about the T3's? I have read up on each over the net, but wanted to ask here on the GV section. I will be buying from GV...love the place. Oh, and by the way, could anyone tell me what my lack of tech skills self could be doing wrong when posting. I cannot hit 'enter' to start a new line or paragraph in my post. Seemed to work fine before, but here I am all crammed together in one big ol' paragraph. Thanks GV dudes and dudettes.--------CI

You do know that the preferred Stardust's, are the ones with replaceable coil heads, right?
Which some clean after every tank full to get max life and flavor from...

I know that now...1 1/2 months vaping. Common sense is not so common. LOL.

Being able to replace the coil heads is exactly why I'm looking toward them. A shame that it took me a small stash of them to figure it out. I digress...

Here, there, everywhere!
I will tell you I did not care for the original stardusts at all but the easy fill and go without the mess......nice theory, then a couple friends pointed me to the Rebuildable Stardusts and I like them alot. Matter of fact just replaced the heads on two last night - so easy to do. So easy to fill, just love the ease of them. not to mention how nice they look on a spinner or twist.

I have also tried the mini T3, which I will order more heads when they come in.....worth keeping in stock for me.

Then the mini vivi's - I keep a couple of those on hand and have replaceable heads for those too.

That is just my opinion but those three things are my go to.

Only advice I'll give is don't buy a whole bunch of anything. Get one or two and try 'em out. Only you will be able to tell what will work for you. Make a small order of a couple of different things and don't stock up on a big slew of replacement heads. See what you like and then place another order for the replacements.

Some folks say they don't want to make small orders because of the shipping costs. So they buy a whole bunch of something they think they will like, only to find out they don't really like them. That turns out to be an expensive way to save a little on shipping.

(By the way, although you said, "I'm not interested in the carto tanks", the Raven is good stuff. You should really try one. But again, don't buy a bunch of the Raven replacement cartos yet. Just try one.)

And then when you have found your "nirvana" device, and have invested a boatload of money, you will try something else that blows your head off with flavor/vapor, and you'll start the vicious cycle all over again.

And with the increasingly rapid speed at which new stuff is coming out, that time frame seems to be getting shorter and shorter!

Yep... I thought I found my nirvana device in the Pro Tank, then before it even was released it has been replaced in nirvana by the Raven!

Lol, which is why I've tried very little new stuff since replaceable stardusts came out. I keep peeking, but these are just working for me. I really just need to get into better cleaning habits with them though.

You could rebuild your stardust they are easy to recoil and there might still be some youtube videos out there to show you how,but the tubes are a little tough getting off.The stardust was the only thing i used when they first hit the shelves they where great but with release of the vivi nova i lost interest in them.

Also want to add that when you try something new - if it has a replacable head or replacable carto thing or what not its not a bad idea to get an extra (whatever part has the coil) just in case you get a dud or one that dosent work they may it was ment to. If you only get one and it leaks or is funky then you end thinking they are all that way and could turn you off of something you might really like...

I have been pretty good about cleaning things, but Zips jig is all the DIY I need! Now that is my style of DIYing. I've seen people rocking these back and forth on their Ego's...not my way of doing things.

Anyway, thanks for the words and direction here. I'm going to keep it simple...relatively simple:D

Evods will be on my next order as well as getting some Rebuildable Stardusts. To please my peaked interest, I will get ONE Raven to try. Yeah, I know how this all starts, and that ONE puts me in the game. All is well.

Thanks for the replies.
