After reading this site a lot and watching that hour long video demonstrating various e-cigarettes, I popped over to the supported supplier forum, picked a supplier, and ordered a 901 kit from thesmokelessshop.com. The kit came with everything intact and I was vaping with the prejuiced cartridges in about 60 seconds (they precharged two of the three batteries for me which was nice). The kit came with two 4ml bottles of juice so I took the advice and got some fruity flavors, cherry and strawberry. Unfortunately the prefilled cartridges only came in tobacco flavor so topping them off might make for a funky combination.
Anyway, here's my question that must have been asked here a lot but I searched around and couldn't find an answer. Each atomizer came with a blank cartridge. The hour long video mentioned that these had to be filled with some fuzzy stuff which she called poly something that you can get a craft store? I'm confused as to where I can get this and how easy is it to make it the right size to fit into the blank cartrdige so that it absorbs the juice correctly.
This was the only thing that baffled me since the kit didn't come with any of that poly whatever white cotton like stuff so I can't really use the juice yet. Other than that everything seems to work and as been posted here many times, the tobacco flavor doesn't necessarily taste like tobacco.
I'll be heading over to the pub tomorrow to show this thing off since I'm the first I know in my neighborhood to have one. Awhile ago I mentioned this to the bar owner and he said that I still had to smoke this outside but that's OK. Going outside to smoke at the pub.has become a new way to socialize and meet people you otherwise wouldn't have without the shared smoking experience.
