VG at a retail outlet?

does anyone recommend a particular brand of VG to use that you can pick up at a store? prefer not to have to order more crap online.

the VG i previously used was Wiltons, got it at hobby lobby. but it gives my juice a funny taste and a really harsh throat hit.

the only other brand i have seen was the stuff at walmart in the first aid section.

any comments on these 2 or suggestions for other sources?

Those are the two most popular locally. If you can find NOW brand it gets good feedback and I've read some being able to find it locally at health food stores, ymmv.

The most common retail brand is Humco. I ordered mine through CVS, same as what Walmart stocks it in the pharmacy area. Whatever you get MUST be marked USP for assurance of purity. I don't think the ones at health food stores are certified like that.

It's also pretty cheap from Goodprophets, as well as plain pg, if you're buying other stuff! I've had great service from them. Good luck mixin'!

You can get it by the quart or gallon at a tack shop. Usually around $25 for the gallon. It is the same USP grade as those sold at other stores.

found some NOW 100% pure vegetable glycerin at Whole Foods. i gotta say i can really taste the difference between this and Wiltons... its vapeable!

it definitely has a better taste than wiltons. im thinking maybe i just had a bad/old batch of wiltons. i have ruined a LOT of juice trying to figure out what was giving it the nasty harsh taste

I've been using Wilton VG for a couple years and it taste clean and a little sweet to me.

I'd stick with Humco, or other Glycerin USP. I've used a lot of Riteaid branded Glycerin USP, consistent good luck with it. $4 - $5 for 6 ounces, the stuff in the small clear bottles in the bandaid section. Glycerin should be the only listed ingredient, 99.5% or greater. There's a sticky in the DIY E-liquid area on this.

Yes this brand is very clean tasting! This is the best i've found.

If you put a few drops of this on a clean atty, you will hit, and hit, and hit, with no taste whats so ever. No burning throat or the like. Just a very clean, room filling cloud of vapor.

It's 100.0% USP Grade

I just bought a bottle today at Whole Foods. It's the Now brand and was just under $10 for 16oz. I mixed up some 2:1 with some Nicvape 100mg nic juice and it vapes really well. No taste at all. I'm going to try 3:1 and then add a few flavors. Good stuff
