VG/DW ratio; Finding 808 perfection

Okay, so I'm trying to make a cheap, easy e-liquid I can use to
A) Demonstrate to people what e-cigs/personal vapes are
B) vape with my friends without wasting expensive fluid
C) practice smoke tricks
D) be a back up for when I run out of nice flavored liquid and still want to vape

In order to do this, I'm trying to find the cheapest way possible to do this, this is what I've come up with so far...

What you need:
Any kind of syringe that can measure ml( i bought a riteaid store brand one for oral medicine, for like 2$)
a container to hold final liquid(I use a shot glass )
distilled water ($1.29 per gallon from RiteAid(I work there, so it's even cheaper than that ))
Glycerin anhydrous USP 99.5%( this is the "VG" I bought from RiteAid, ~$5.79 ish)
I shall document my findings in this thread with a cheap, vapeable solution that works good with 808 cartomizers!


take VG with syringe, put in shot glass
take DW with syringe, put in shot glass
cover shot glass with saran wrap
shake thoroughly
condom fill 808 cartomizer, let sit for half hour
TesT!

hopefully i'll find vapor perfection and not just burnt 808s and heartbreak (lol)

This is what I'm trying now:
8ml VG
2ml Distilled Water

i'll let you know how it goes!

That's a 20% dilution which is OK. The norm is 15-20% depending on how viscous the base VG is. 15-20% will render the consistency of PG and you will be fine. AAMOF for cartos 20% will wick better

I put the solution into my "Stardust" clearomuzer I got with my Volt X2; the clearomizer still had a little bit of the previous juice I used, but I didn't get much vapor at all, and it was gurgling when I tried to use it. I shook it up to mix my liquid with the 70% PG liquid I had in there( they were separated the flavored liquid was floating), and I probably got some liquid in thecenter, which caused the gurgling and probably decreased vapor. I'm letting it sit for a while, then I will try baling it again. If that doesn't work I'm going to wash it out and try it again with my DIY liquid only.

Take it off your device and blow through the mouth piece into a tissue = stop gurgling

Thanks; it's vaping pretty good now, still have a residual minty flavor from my mint chocolate flavor i didn't empty out tomorrow, i'll probably wash it out and try my liquid again; I might also try a 85% vg 15% dw mix and see how that goes.
