VG/PG Help please

Not sure what I am doing wrong if anything. First, I am using an itaste mvp 2.0, at its lowest settings right now. Second, I got some new ejuice and got it 100%VG, Because from what I have read, it is sweeter and less throat hit. With that said, my new flavor is pina coloda 12mg. With my settings turned all the way down, the throat hit is still very harsh and the taste isn't sweet at all. I guess I was expecting a sweet juicy flavor. Is it the flavor, setting, all vg. Or me

Depending on what atty you are using you could be having wicking issues.
Vg is thick and it can be difficult to wick on many setups.

Nic concentration contributes much more throat hit than PG does. Reduce your nic level and you will reduce your throat hit.

Adding a couple of drops of distilled water to my tank seems to work for me.

what atty are you using?


If you're using stock coils there are a lot of different possibilities.. is the coil you're using new? If it isn't how old is it?

It could be breaking in. It could be old and gunked up. It could be something made for more of a 50/50 mix. other things.

I don't know of any disposables that'd be capable of wicking 100% VG well.

More throught hit comes from the nicotine than from the vg/pg ratio. Try it with 3mg.

Is it a topcoil with wicks hanging down?
If so it's harder for vg to soak it's way up the wick to get to the coil

You really need to be more specific or you're just going to have 50 people coming in and telling you about your juice ratio and very few people actually trying to help your situation.

I'd suggest you stop vaping this device for now.. You're probably just burning wicking material at this point, and that's not good for you.

You need a device that's actually capable of wicking 100% VG if you plan to use it. Otherwise get some 50/50.
