for me i notice this when i use higher nic juices. do higher nics use mor vg? or it depends?
Actually, the amount of nic doesn't have any impact on the amount of VG, or PG, or PGA, or whatever medium you're using to carry the nic. A juice with 18mg of nic may have any ratio of PG/VG from 0%PG/100%VG to 100%PG/0%VG ... the amount of nic largely affects throat hit, and can also make phlegm worse because phlegm production is a natural bodily defense against irritation and inflammation, both side effects of nicotine inhalation ...

since we are inhaling moisture doesn't this make sense as a side affect

LOL ... it doesn't make sense to me, either, but I'm no biochemist. That's what my doctor told me when he recommended vaping as a way to get off ciggies, and it seems to be corroborated by everything I've read so far on the subject. For heaven's sake, don't trust me ... I'm no scientist!

And here I thought I was the only one that noticed it.....lol.
That 'coating' from VG not only builds up, but it also takes away from my TH.
When I sit for a vape session, the more I vape...the thicker the coating; less TH and then that urge to get a tissue and cough that crap up.
70/30 PG/VG is fine and even 60/40 I don't have issues with, but more than that and the tissues are on hand.
