I've been vaping for two weeks now and love it. I went to a smoking bar this evening and felt half sick from the analog smoke in the air. Whoever invented e-cigs...Thank You!

Anyway, my question is in regards to VG vs PG juice. I know that VG gives off more vapor, but is there a difference in the taste and the amount of flavor that can be put into VG? I ordered from a VG exclusive website that many on the forum recommended and was disappointed with the lack of flavor. Can I expect this from all VG liquids or does the amount of flavor in VG juice vary?

I have noticed this too. I love the VG vapor production but the flavor of the PG based juice is so much more. I even ordered VG juice with 2X the flavor content and it doesn't compare with some of my PG based juice. My husband is allergic to the PG so I don't think I'll share the difference I notice. Thank goodness I'm not allergic to PG! Interested in what the veterans say....

I've heard a lot of folks say that VG reduces flavor, but I haven't found that to be the case. Many of my favorite vapes are 100% VG and have plenty of flavor (for example, Gorilla Juice from AVE and lots of the 100% VG juices from Vaperite). I think it's really a matter of personal taste, which varies so much from one person to another.

You are in the US. You can buy PG/VG blends and that is what most people vape. Most US juice sellers have at least one PG/VG blend and some have a choice of PG/VG blends. Some of the most popular ratios are 70pg/30vg, 80pg/20vg and 50/50

PG is thin lets through more flavor and more of nicotine's TH and irritation
VG is thick and dulls everything PG lets through and adds more visible and persistent vapor

I just switched from PG to VG and actually had the opposite experience. I was buying some fruity-flavored PG juices that eventually lost most its flavor. Now I started buying JC's Red Oak VG stuff and get lots of flavor. I think the manufacturer must play a part in it too. I don't direct drip anymore either because it ruined my atty - should've cleaned it a lot more often!

I actually like most flavors better in VG than in PG.
PG has a bit off a off taste to it, kinda bitter after taste.
VG you can also thin so it works just as well in carto's and such.
TH is just fine also, just smoother and not as harsh as with the PG ( perhaps because I'm used to it)

As with anything quality may vary along with flavorings used from vendor to vendor etc etc.

You need a genius and master to make vg just as flavorful as the normal pg/vg juices. THERE ARE 2 companies that I know of:

1. - Nikhil from Purevapes.com - master at perfecting flavor for all vg if that is how you order it. He will make any combo you want

2. - Alien Visions - all vg juices and some are 90 vg and 10 pg.

Clouds of vapor and great taste from all the juices you would get from the two vendors above

I saw a Grimm Green video where he thought a VG juice actually went bad... I wonder if keeping them in the fridge would keep them fresh or would that negatively effect the thickness and make it harder to vape.

Like many people I wanted to get into VG because it seemed like a more natural or organic option. The first juice I tried came with my unit called "High Caliber". It was a 50/50 blend and it had a lot of flavor, but it also had a chemical taste which I'm guessing might have been the artificial coloring. If you've ever tasted food coloring it has the same taste. I'm hoping to find a vendor I like and can stick with. Thanks for all the advice and recommendations!

would be interested to know by what means people are thining out the vg liquids everclear/vodka? water?
I never vaped over 50-50 until I ordered from kick bass 60vg- 40pg their standard mix I would prefer 80-20 or 70-30
but i wanted to try their flavor standard to see how they were first, found it seem to clog up the atty and i find i need to vape some 80-20 of something else in between to get the atty to hit decent again

I vape 100% VG accept my added flavorings which is PG Based and I like 2anywhere from 15-20% flavoring in most of my mixes so it ends up a trued 80vg 20pg mix it just puts out plumes more vapor for me and the juices I mix turn out way better for ME on this Ratio, I also store all my juice in a basement in a cool dark place and it does best there.
