vg with flavor

Ive read alot about vg juices not having much flavor and many vendors offer extra flavoring would a 80vg 20pg mix have a good flavor originally mixed or would adding a few extra shots of flavor be beneficial or ruin quality in the mix? I dont need a tone of TH but like the idea of more vapor. Also ive read that nic can affect the TH in juice once again adding more nic for TH to a primarily vg mix good or bad?
