Does flavor = throat hit?

I recently got some Atomic Cinnacide (AC) juice from Tasty Vapor (24mg, 35% VG). I kind of have a love-hate thing going on with it (well not really hate, more a dislike). I'll start with the dislike: WAY too much flavor and way too sweet for me. Now for the love: awesome throat hit!! I've tried other 24mg juices that had a good TH, but his stuff is in a class by itself. I'm wondering if the strong TH is a direct result of the strong cinnamon flavor. I tried mixing some with another juice and the TH is not as strong. I find that I like a juice with a tobacco base but a little of some other flavor mixed in (like RY4). I like the tobacco/AC mix I made but I miss the TH of the straight AC. Has anybody tried a juice that has a really great TH without a really overpowering flavor? Thanks!

With cinnamon, the TH can be a bit harsh and even burning if too much is added. But mostly the TH comes from the nic amount in the liquid. The higher the nic contant the better the TH unless it is a really sweet and mellow flavor.. But with the cinnamon, yes the TH can be harsh and at times burning if too much is added. You can order it to ur liking from TV and just put in comments when ordering or better yet, contact Geoff and ask him the questions about strength of the flavor..

Hi stubear, I had always heard that the nic content is what makes for a strong TH, but I find that this AC stuff has a very strong TH (which I like!), even stronger than some juices I've tried with a higher nic content. So, if I ordered some AC with less cinnamon, I imagine it wouldn't have such a great TH. It looks like I have to put up with the strong cinnamon taste to get that great TH.

If a e liquid you have has no throat hit, add 1 drop (PGA) per ml. to the mix....this works for me.....

Ah, I was going to suggest the same thing. But since I can't get PGA here in Virginia without a license, I use 151 rum which also works.

afaik throat hit is from nicotine, but you can also add a little grain alcohol to boost it.

Yes, PGA stands for pure grain alcohol. Everclear is one example.

vodka, and everclear are best options since they are basically flavorless.. but if you are mixing with with a flavor that would complement rum, whiskey ext they work too

I tend to think there are two different types of TH - there is Throat Hit and then there is Lung Hit.

No question that two juices of the same flavor will have different TH with nic levels - but some flavors do have a very different throat or lung hit. These are the ones that struck me:

1. Atomic Cinnacide - For me, this is a strong lung hit more than a throat hit, you feel it in your chest.

2. Amaretto Stone Sour - This one has throat hit, has something to do with whatever flavoring is adding the tang. I say this because I can recognize the same tang in Ms. T's Orange Juice and the same stronger throat hit, though Amaretto SS has the stronger throat hit IMO.

Try the Amaretto SS - it is not a sweet flavor at all so it doesn't have the overpowering whammo flavor that the super sweet Atomic Cinnacide has. Different type of throat hit though.

Dude, that's an entirely different type of throat hit. I guess you are right tho, there are three kinds of TH then...
1. Lung Hit
2. Throat Hit
3. Roundhouse to the larynx
