VG with Nic...How long?

Hi everyone...How long does VG with nicotene usually last. I have a partial bottle of 36 mg. Probably have had it stored in a dark cool place for about 6-8 months. Does anyone know the shelf life? Should I just pitch it and order a new bottle? It has a nice light amber tint to it.

Not sure on straight VG juice, but I've been told that "juice" in general has a shelf life of 2 years if it's stored in a cool dark place, or refrigerated fro a bit of an extension on that.

Should be fine for at least another 4 - 6 months easily if kept in a cool dark place.

You can slow the color change by putting it in a smaller bottle, with less free air.

Usually 2 years or more with unflavored as long as you keep it cool and out of sunlight. The amber tint is normal when oxidization occurs.

i thought you were suppose to keep it room temp and i think it last a little over a year

if it's in plain nic, you can freeze it, but not if it has flavoring in it

With opened vg, I tend towards caution.
2 yr is the stipulated notional shelf life of p&g superol kpo, but I suspect a partial bottle doesn't quite fall within their target.
Yes, 73f is the notional p&g storage temp, but I store cooler, since I also have organic flavorings that are better kept cool.

Search around here and you will find many that freeze in smaller amounts(to slow oxidation) in glass bottles. I was one and did not notice any changes. According to Dow chemical and P & G chemical both will last 2 yr. if stored below 104 F. for PG and 125 F for VG. I think the most important thing is storing away from UV light and air.

Thanks all for your help! I have a partial bottle of VG...36 mg nic. I've had issues with wheezing and figured out it's the sweet juice I love so much. I started with plain VG and didn't run into problems until I started with different flavors of juice. Of course for me the sweeter the better.
