I have tried a 50 mm cartomiser and mega carts on it and both do the same thing but when I tried the same 50mm cartomizer on a small 180mah pen style battery it works fine. Why does it make a difference?
Not everything is ideally suited to everything else. For example, a regular 510 cartomiser might work nicely on a slim battery and then be very airy on a full sized ego battery. Sometimes you can improve this with a cone or a plinth. Cartomizers are usually reliable enough, more of the no air/too much air issues are found with
tanks or clearomisers, hence my question.
An automatic battery needs an air flow to activate the battery, so almost no air is probably bad. I don't use auto
batteries, so I can't be that specific.
How keen are you on your JacVapour equipment. I used up my Jac' carts on a regular 510/ego battery (using an adapter) and then gave up on them as the thread fitting they use is almost obsolete. I like JacVapour, but users are limited to what they can buy and long-term buying stuff which fits nothing else. Some of the products they sell are expensive....over-priced is OK if you like it and it works, but "unique" fitting equipment is a pain in the rear.
Having said all that....do you have a "cone"?....they certainly improve the draw/air flow on cartomizers on everyday "larger"
batteries. A Lavatube or eVic wouldn't need one, as the design leads to less air than more (generally) whereas for an eGo battery I would say always needs a cone.
I realise you are in Malta, but next time you need a battery, maybe try ordering a regular eGo battery and an adapter to use Jac/ carts. This is the route I took and it was good advice when I needed it. Your stuff is all 808 thread so at the moment, you are kind of limited.
