so I just got the teslacig punk 220 mod, running with a vog elite rdta and I’ve had the same kanthal coils for a minute. I just got the vgod pro fused Clapton nichromium coils and I can’t get a good hit off this thing! It’s either too hot, too cold, burning or not running the right ohms. Online it said it should run at .16 to .18 but mine is reading .27-.30. Any idea what’s off or what I need to set this thing at? The teslacigs mod has setting for ni200, kanthal, ss316, ti, and tcr. It was a gift so I’m trying to figure this out... please and ty for the help.

I briefly had a Tesla punk (and still have a steampunk nano) and I will merely tell you that the board is like, insanely efficient as far as wattage, and also reads coils consistently high? Low? I can't remember and I have an RDA on my steampunk so IDK what the coil "should" be.

So, you've got some adjusting to do. I would NOT adjust your ohms that always tends to be a bad idea.

You are going to need to play around with your other settings.

Good luck,

I would double check that the coil legs are tightly screwed down. After firing the coils, the legs should always be snugged up again. Also make sure your 510 pin in the rda is not loose, but be careful not to over tighten it either as they can snap. Both of these issues can cause ohms to read incorrectly or jump around.
