Tell me what did you do so bad that made your mom say..."Wait untill your Father comes home"

for me it was when I was 12 years old and in back of my home was a man made lake with ducks, well cats were eating the baby chicks, so I took 7 baby chicks home with me in a box and raised them untill they were big and fat, and then released them back into the lake. but I remember my mom saying..."wait untill your Father comes home!!! she was so mad.

Contest ends June 17th " Happy Fathers Day"

This was years before I started smoking. I was mad at my Mom for smoking, and inserted a few of those explosive loads into my Mom's cigarettes. At work that day she pulled out one that was loaded, and it blew the fire end into her lap, burning a hole in her new dress. Not only did I get my back side worked on, but had to deal with Dad as well. Then I had to pay for that $35 dress, working for 90 cents an hour at a car wash. I never did that again.

I told my mom that I was going to spend a few days at a friends house over the summer so we could beat a video game that had just came out. I had some pretty non-restrictive parents so this was fine with her as long as we checked it by their parents so I told her they said it was okay. That was a lie. This family was moving to a different state and the mother, father and youngest daughter went to Wisconsin to check out the new house they had bought (they hadn't sold the old one yet, it was during the housing market bust).

Anyway, we convinced the oldest son who had stayed at the house to throw a party that quickly got out of control. We invited everybody we knew and between all the teenagers drinking, smoking and being unsupervised, quite a bit of damage was done. Hardwood floors had to be replaced, the whole upstairs needed to be re-carpeted from spills and ash burns, the walls needed to be repainted in many places, numerous plates and glasses were shattered, things were stolen, their pool table needed repairs, and the garbage disposal was destroyed. This is just a small list of some of the damage the house endured. His father had a humidor in which he kept a collection of fine cigars, some of which weren't exactly legal in the states. Some were smoked by children who could in no way appreciate them and some were put to more nefarious uses.

We ended up getting busted when the real estate agest came the next day unexpectedly to take pictures of the house. It would have been awful in a regular house but one that was on the market during that time period really suffered and when our parents found out, so did the teenagers involved. It was completely idiotic and selfish and telling the story embarrasses me to this day. My mother got a call from their parents explaining the situation the afternoon they got back from their new house. Needless to say, she waited for my father to get home to discuss how I should be punished.

I worked that entire summer sending paychecks to the Anderson's and was in a group of kids who helped clean the house up afterwards. The family could definitely have pressed charged but because their son was involved, they decided it would be better not to.

My Mom threw my father out when I was about 5 yrs. old, but she never would have used that saying because she was MORE than capable of taking care of things herself!! :D

There were plenty of times when I knew I had done something wrong and was afraid to go home because I also knew what would happen when I got there... She might have been very strict with me, but was also very open minded about things, and became my Best Friend once I was was old enuff to appreciate her and everything she gave up for me...

She passed away in 2008 and I really miss her!!! :(

(btw, I never had a chance to tell my "Liver Story" in the last contest... :p lol)

Never had that problem personally. My male sperm donor jumped at every chance to get on to me for anything and everything even if the cat or dog did it. Being an ex cop I guess he missed the days of interrogating, harassing and punishing people. My mother honestly never said that and stayed at home until all the children were out and left herself.

My mom said this all the time but the one time I did get it from my dad in a major way was when I skipped school as a sohomore in high school. Three girls and five boys on a yacht. Our Catholic high school expelled us on a temp basis but my parents seriously grounded me. #goodtimes #foolishthingsteensdo #epichighschoolskipday

Thanks for the fun contest and good luck to all.

Well, the one that sticks out in my head was.....
When I took all my sisters Barbie dolls and cut their hair off and put the hair in the sink and plugged the drain.
Mom made me give my bratty sister, LOL, all my Barbie dolls and said wait until your father gets home!!

So when Dad came home, he came to my room and gave me a stern talking to, made me bend over and took his belt off.
He had a tear in his eye and said "this is going to hurt me more than it will hurt you."
He hit the bed 3 times and told me to scream and cry each time or I would really get a good whipping.

See, My dad never spanked us, Mom was real Strict and She alway spanked us enough for the both of them,
Dad knew this. He never spanked me, ever!

Where I am
1st I stole an economy sized box of condoms from the local drug store; I got away scot-free for that, but then I took them to school. I was in 5th grade, and of course all my buddies thought I was king for a day. I handed out condoms to every boy I knew. It was holiday time, and my school would show 35mm Disney films in the gymnasium. Well, some of my buddies were blowing up the condoms like balloons, and letting them fly around like rockets during the movie while the girls were screeching because slimy condoms were landing on them in the dark. Then some of my other buddies were in the bathroom filling the condoms up with water, and cramming them down the toilets while continuously flushing which led to the bathroom being flooded with water. Other condom shenanigans occurred that I can't quite remember(it was 30 years ago after all), but of course my buddies, who got caught, snitched me out!

I was sent to the principals office, and sent home with a letter to my parents. My Mom was home when I arrived, and immediately knew something was up so I hesitantly handed over the letter. She sent me to my room until my Step-Father got home. Once he arrived they called me down to discuss the situation. I was a very emotional child, and I was a crying mess at this point. My Mother took charge, and assured me that it would be all right; what I did was wrong, but not the end of the world. I'm pretty sure I remember my parents chuckling about the situation.

The letter stated that I was suspended until my parents could come and talk to the principal. So the following day My Mother took me to school. The principal pretty much said that he wanted to "paddle" me for the atrocities I committed, and I remember my Mother just flipping out telling the poor schmuck that she would be the only one punishing me, and grabbed the "paddle" threatening to use it on my principal! My Step-Father, who was Jail Administrator for the county we lived in, talked to the principal later that day, and I was back in school the next day up to my old shenanigans.

I was never really punished for that particular incident. My parents sat me down, and made sure I knew what I did was wrong, but that was the worst of it, and from then on I saw my Mother as my protector and the authority figure in my house.
