my favorite thing about summer is having my kids home for summer break. my kids can drive me crazy sometimes but I look forward all year to their summer vacation. P.S thanks for this cool contest!

My favorite thing about Summer is it's NOT Winter.....

My favorite thing about summer is being able to hang out at the pool and listen to the St. Louis Cardinals games.

Impossible to choose just one, here's what's on the top of my list:

-chillaxin' on the porchio with a cold drink

-shorts, a t-shirt and sandals - we don't need no stinkin' coats, shoes & socks

-the scents of honeysuckle, jasmine, freshly mown grass, suntan lotion - i love the smell of summer!

-endless hours of entertainment with my nephews who are out of school and available to do whatever our heart's desire

-leaving the windows open

-the sounds of a summer evening - the ice cream truck, summer storms, the delightful sound of the creek running through the backyard, wind chimes

My favorite things is definitely coming home from an exhausting school semester to see my family.

My favorite thing about summer, in michigan, is probably that nature is in full swing. No lack of rain so far this year.

My favorite part of Summer are the Free Concerts they have on the Pier...
and that I can walk down there from where I live.

Otherwise, it's too hot and the beaches are crowded with tourists... LOL!!
(especially on the 4th of July, when they put on a Free Fireworks Show from barges out in the Harbor)
