Hello, Fellow Emeraldites....I'm out sick today...so have decided to put together something very special for all my friends...a little game for my amusement (and yours.) I will be giving a special bottle of my personal stock of juice for the winner....so there is incentive to play!

Find the flying monkeys, Emeraldites, that JJ let out of the dungeon last night....I have put flying monkey alerts in 7 of my earlier posts, and they are NOT just confined to the Emerald City, I'm afraid......

I do hope I was clear in the rules....I want stories of the captures....not JUST their locations. I know we're all very creative with our keyboards here in the EC, so it will be a tough judgement for me....but I'm up to it.

Smokers aren't a "protected" class of people, so they can discriminate based on that.....stinks, but just another way for society to harass smokers.

I'll let them out this morning as long as they don't harrass the chickens, they can play a while, while I work. I have some nice big trees (the biggest being the three black walnut) so they'd better be good!!!

Let me tell you, I had just about given up after tromping through the EC all day, dragging my useless leg behind me. I went into the EC Pub for a cold one. Frankly, drowning my sorrows sounded like a good idea.

I sat down to get my drink, and it was clear to see that the owner of the pub is a guy . . . and a dirty-minded one at that:

I'm a lady, so, of course, I ignored the sign. Some drunken sot next me actually had the nerve to THANK ME for NOT taking off my shirt.

So I'm sitting there waiting for Prince Rick, my hero . . . the Drama Queen Extraordinaire . . . and I look up . . . and what do I see . . .

Holy crap! That nasty little creature was laughing at me. And, yes, it was the same monkey that took a chunk out of my leg.

I knew I had to capture him, so I bought him a couple of drinks, and when he got so stinkin' drunk he couldn't even hover, I nabbed him.

Fortunately, Spikey must have been in the Pub before me, because I found some lovely fur-lined handcuffs in the lost and found. I cuffed the little nasty, and then carried him off to the vet.

Oh, my. By the time we got to the vet, he wasn't looking so great.

He's spending the night and the vet's office, and I'm to pick him up tomorrow. Hopefully, the test results will be done by then, and we'll be able to figure out what's caused my leg wound to fester.

I could use another drink about now.

I keep the iodine in the cabinet next to the poison....be sure not to use the blue bottles, that's some stuff I keep on hand to make sure my complexion is nice and green.

Or is it the stuff in the red bottle? Hmmmmmm...I forget...
