GG Odysseus Dual Mesh Resistance coils at .7 ohms Highlander Build

Imeo asked me to try to do a ss wire but that didn’t work out so good so used mesh 400 for this experiment. Manos and I did a single coil earlier today with good results. It was funny while getting it setup I managed to break the first mesh when tying the nonresistance wire. Silly me well after a few tries I was well on my way to a single coil using mesh as resistance wire.

The results were staggering, no burn, no metal taste, pure puff clouds. The con was I didn’t get the heat I enjoyed with a dual coil at .7 ohms 4.2 volts. I enjoy a nice hot wet steam not a medium heat steam. So I said to manos let’s see if we can do a dual coil mesh. He said he was going to try on his end and I was going to do the same.

So in this video is me making two single mesh resistance wire and combining them to make a dual coil. HIGHLANDER STYLE!!!

As you can see in the video I had to measure the ohms carefully to get it at .7 ohms. What I had to do was cut a very thin layer of mesh and roll it very very very very very very tight to equal as close to 34 gauge. I had to do the same with second mesh because if its not equel then the length will nto be the same when you ohm it out. Must try to keep it the same size in length with same ohms as best as possible. It took me almost 4 tries to get this right. Once seeing my two mesh coils were at same ohms then it was time to mount it on my King Odysseus.

As you can see in video it was worth the time and effort. The taste was remarkably better than it was at single coil. I think it has to do with the extra heat. Oh did this pump like pressure pot steams valve nothing short than amazing yet it made it so smooth. I swear if Imeo was here Id kiss him for the idea of using mesh as a resistance coil. I just had to take it a step higher making it dual highlander.

MANOS wait till you try it OMG nothing short than amazing.

My first coil was lust like this Bish. I rolled a piece of mesh just like you. Then I made a coil without rolling the mess to have bigger surface. But as I see your dual coil meshwired wire is much better than mine. Extraordinary work buddy!! The smoke you produced is from another world!!

Thank you Imeo manos also helped me through the first single mesh coil. I also tried it without rolling it but it wasnt strong enough heat even at low ohms .7-.8. Im afraid to open it up and clean it out the vape is so good and taste is rich. it takes a lot of work to get this to work no question on that.

Get some 325 mesh, more throat hit. Wicks just as well on PG/VG but it does provide more throat hit.

Ok will do I was going to clean it out tonight but ill wait till sunday.

So far the ohms has changed to .8 I can tell it has a different taste now for sure still using same juice.

Bishop this is an excellent setup !! I am sure that gives a power steam, more than anything else at these watts ..
I can remember from iAtty, that the dual coil (even the three coil) setups, produce huge clouds of vapor ... Of course, now with mesh instead of wire, we have a better taste

I guess that setups with mesh, will last longer ... We will discover it soon

time will tell my friend, I'm still testing it out though i strongly advise no one to do this because if done wrong you will have unstable ohms that will jump around to much and it will cause more harm than good. Please this setup is for the advance vapor and its not simple to do and it still being tested. I'll give more of an update later on after i clean it out on sunday.
