Hey, has anyone seen that little bottle of rose pottpourri I had sitting around? Oh well...

Another great review. Loved the honesty. Sometimes a boring vape is just a boring vape. If you want to set the mode...light a candle (we've got to do something with our old matches and lighters). I'm not too big on subtle flavors. If you have to think about what your vaping there's not going to be a lot of enjoyment there. Just got a strawberry e-liquid from DK (heaven gifts or healthcabin) and it tasted just like a fresh strawberry. Well, when you bite into a real fresh strawberry it tastes mostly like water with just a hint of flavor. Right on the money, but too subtle to really enjoy.

Loved the Daffy 510, too...

Hey, guys, I don't have any comment on the fedoras, but I gotta say this:

I *love* Janty Rose! It's very, very "rosey", and even my dead taste-buds get lots of flavor.

It's real good mixed with Ecopure Rich, too.

Of course, I'm female - maybe that makes a difference. Besides, haven't any of you ever eaten dessert with rose petals, or sugared rose petals? It's pretty good, actually. :)

I've had sugared rose petals. Tasted like sugar to me. What's rose "taste" like? Maybe you're getting the sweetness of the PG and the aroma of the rose?

I'm a big fan of rose, too -- and of jasmine. I wouldn't say rose is particularly subtle; it reminds me of the rosewater syrup used in Mediterranean and Indian cooking (especially beverages) and that stuff's aggressively ROSE. Jasmine reminds me of good jasmine tea. Both are minerally, sweetness coming only from the PG. (Then again, I think most of the tobacco flavors taste like burnt caramel and most of the fruit flavors are weak; most of the coffees are too strong on the sweet and not coffee enough.) BigJim is correct, though -- rose is a nasal vape, not oral.

Maybe it is a girl thing, but for me, rose has nothing to do with funerals (that's carnation) nor girly-girl concepts of romance. The rose liquid I have is more attar of roses than flower-shop, so it's pretty exotic, and has a hint of incense at the back of the throat on the inhale.

Well, in the salad, rose petals tasted like a very different-textured red lettuce, is the closest I can come up with - there was a bitter taste to it, but good. When sugared, it was an interesting combination.

In the vape it doesn't taste sweet to me. It tastes... I suppose "fresh" is a good term. Again, kind of like lettuce, but thicker, smoother, and more buttery - pretty much as I remember it tasting in the salad, sans the bitterness. But, honestly, my tastebuds must be shot to heck, because what I mostly get from vaping is something like "smell in my mouth", and mostly on the exhale - not the same as smelling while blowing it out your nose, either, I don't like doing that because it irritates my nose and smells funky. My nose is an over-sensitive instrument. :)

So, to me, rose smells like rose in my mouth with a bit or rose-petal-in-your-salad taste. It has a *very* slight complex "aftertaste/aftersmell" that is more like not-sweet-vanilla, or maybe incense. And Janty's version is very, very strong - I mixed it half and half with ecopure (great combo), and the rose still comes across quite strong.

I just got it the day before yesterday, and have been vaping it mixed with ecopure rich ever since. I'm surprised myself about how much I like it.
