Views on the Aspire BDC clearos.

So, what are people's views on the Aspire range of Bottom Dual coils clearos?

Any pros/cons would be appreciated. How are they for leaking?

I've never used them but I'll be watching this thread for people who have, I love bottom coils, but never used dual.

They suck. Can't get mine to work at all. This is the first time this has happened with any clearomizer I've had. I have used most.

IMO, it started out strong, but petered out fast. Mine only came with one head. I don't think I will buy anymore. The Vivi it tried to knock off its pedestal, is still up and running. I had a Nova V2.5 with the same head for a year. You can rebuild them also. The Aspire is missing something IMO. Think its the bottom coil; Never liked any bottom coil Clearo.

I am holding back on the Aspire. I've made some bad purchases in the past and it takes a few months to get good picture.

I have ordered three units; two of the type for the EGO threading and one tank for the 510 threading.
All of them in the pryex version.

I keep having issues with cartomizers flooding and gurgling. My ProTank II sometimes floods and gurgles but since I started rebuilding my own coils the issues is not as common.

I`ve ordered one and a couple of spare heads to try out.

The main reason being the glass construction and the Evod size. I like my Evods but have always been wary about the juice I use in them because of the Polycarb construction so the way I`m looking at it is as an Evod with benefits

I`m going to try the dual coil heads and have watched closely P Busardo`s You Tube video about how the heads are built, I`m confident I can re-coil and wick one of these heads but maybe not in dual coil config? I don`t know until I try.
I am confident I can re-coil and re-wick one of these in a single coil config so at worse I end up with an Evod with a glass inner which as far as I know is not currently made?

So it`s just arrived this morning so I thought I would post some pics of it fitted to a couple of common devices.

Fitted to a Vamo V3 ss.



Fitted to a Standard Ego 1100mah.



The Ego image gives the impression that the grooves in the base are slightly spiral bit in fact this just an optical illusion given by the light and camera as they are circular to the base.

I will see how I get on with it today and air my views and findings once I`ve given it a chance to settle in

I will report back on mine. It worked well for the first 4-5 tanks. Then vapor production went down some. Two tanks later I started to dislike it. Then this last tank started flooding. So I am done with bottom coils. Its not worth it IMO. I had a 2.5 nova head that lasted a year. I did not vape it every day, but I could still pick it up and go when I needed to. In conclusion, the Aspire is no Nova.

As a matter of interest Striker did the heads have two or four holes?

I see on P Busardo`s vid that the older (or first version) heads had four holes and these were soon superceded by heads with just two holes which is what I have here.
