Any news on an ETA for re-open? I'm getting low...

We are, of course, at the mercy of the new merchant services company however we still expect Friday of this week to be the day. I just received an e-mail from them a few hours ago stating that they should have the process completed either today (though it's getting awfully late in the day) or tomorrow. Obviously we'll want to run some tests to ensure everything is functioning properly but at the moment everything appears on schedule!

BTW...PBJ....fantastic! I delibrately ordered flavors that are notoriously hard to make...the Peanut butter/Strawbeey Jelly is really wonderful...don't know how you manage to get two flavors to come through so clearly...but then thats why I don't do DIY!

The apple smoke flavor is AMAZING, but it isn't really a tobacco flavor. None of the signature line really has a tobacco flavor. It's more of a hickory smoke flavor. Watch my video reviews of them. They are different but excellent.

Hello all,

Just wanted everyone to know that the website is in the final stages of merchant services review. For this purpose the site has been opened in order for them to access it and check all of our security protocols. (Which should go very smoothly as we have always been more than compliant!) IT IS NOT READY TO TAKE ORDERS JUST YET SO PLEASE REFRAIN FROM DOING SO!

I am told we should have the necessary information to re-launch the site late today or possibly tomorrow. If it does in fact take until sometime during the business day tomorrow I will do everything in my power to open up the moment they provide us with the go ahead!

Good News! Merchant Services has reviewed the site and will be providing us with everything we'll need to open back up as soon as things are completed on their end. We have closed the website again until that information is received however it appears as though you can expect us to be open for business no later than Friday evening!!

Incidentally...A tremendous amount of work has been completed over this past week in regards to our new facility. Hammers are flying...concrete is getting ready to be poured! (And construction workers are now running around puffing on 510's!!)

In addition we are in the process of obtaining lab quality automated equipment which in short order will aid in our ability to increase our production level while maintaining an even greater level of recipe accuracy. This is still a ways out however theirs no doubt it will be coming sooner than later!

We are very much looking forward to getting back to work around here!!

I am happy to report that Viking Vapor is officially open for business!

The following e-mail was sent to all current customers however, since our system sends these in batches over a period of time, I will re-post here for immediate access.

Viking Vapor is now open for business!

A couple of minor changes to the website have been implemented.

* The addition of a 'Throat Hit requirement' option has now been added to all flavors to allow you too dictate your own personal preferences.

* Rather than having a cluttered page listing the custom ordering instructions you will now notice a '?' symbol located next to each option. By clicking this you will receive a pop-up window outlining the details of that particular option.

* The PG/VG/Mix option category has been set to default to 'Mix' as that is what is recommended for most people.

The price of the 7.5ml bottle size has been changed from $2.95 to $2.99. This was NOT in an effort to increase profit margin but rather was two fold. 1) Initially it was our intention to set it to $2.99 when we first opened but in our excitement to get open we inadvertently set it lower thus making it cheaper to buy two 7.5's than it was to buy one 15ml. Obviously that made no sense. 2) While we are very fortunate to have obtained new merchant services that are fully understanding of the needs of the e-cigarette industry they are unfortunately MUCH more expensive than our previous provider and this will aid us in offsetting that cost. It is our hopes that you will consider this minor price change relatively insignificant.

If you don't mind my asking, what is added or removed to vary the throat hit? Is is simply a different PG/VG mix?

Also, I can understand your not wanting to carry the popular Chinese brands of tobacco-like flavors (RY4, 555, etc), but why not mix up your own versions? Caramel-vanilla-tobacco and almond-walnut-tobacco are just a good tasting combo. I'd be very interested to try your take on it.

Holy crap. Order placed at about 12AM Saturday. Somehow they managed to make up 10 bottles of liquid and get them from CA to NJ by 11AM Monday. That has to be some sort of record. Only tried the Mocha and Keoke Coffee so far, but both are awesome. I'll work on a full review once I've had a chance to try them all.

LOL...Very glad you got them so quickly but I can't take all the credit. The USPS had a little something to do with it. I hope you like em!

Incidentally, sorry I didn't catch your post about the throat hit thing (I'm assuming your the same person I spoke with via e-mail about it). Now that we are open and cranking out the orders again the best way for you, or anyone else for that matter, to contact me is by e-mail at info@vikingvapor.com. I'll typically respond either immediately or within an hour or two as I have it set to audibly alert me when anyone e-mails that address and am typically nearby.

Nope, that wasn't me. So what is the TH additive?

And yes, I've tried all 10 flavors and I like all of them. I think the cherry cream soda is my favorite so far, but the chocolate hazelnut isn't far behind.
