So, getfiddle, just curious about what equipment you are using for these taste tests... specifically the 5 volt gear. Not questioning anything, just wanted to know what it is, and how it would compare to say 5 volt GLV or xhaler, for example. I think you said your 3.7 volt test is on a standard 510 with I assume a regular 510 battery, and you mentioned that you may from now on test flavors at both voltages, so I am so glad you are doing this over different voltages, so everyone can know what to expect over the range of gear. Wonderful reviews, BTW, so happy to see an honest take on some great new juice!

I am using the 5 volt passthrough from electr-nic-stix. Never tried a GLV or an Xhaler so I can't tell the comparison. Yes the 3.7 volt is on a regular 510 battery and atty from innovapor.

well I think that a throat hit rating can be a lot of different things for different people. I don't like a harsh throat hit but some do. But I don't like one that is too light and you cant feel it.

when I rate throat hit I am rating it on how satisfying it is to ME. It may not be the same way for everyone, much like how the flavor might not be the same for everyone.

Personally, I'd say that the ULTRApure reg full flavor at 18mg is a 10+. the flavor is not though unfortunately.

Because of these video reviews, I went ahead and picked a handful to sample. The $3 price is amazing. There were so many to choose from that I know I'll end up going back at least once more, if not several times. There were flavors on there I'd never have thought would make good vapes. I had to order the pistachio just to find out for myself.

Just wanted to comment though that I have only found 1 juice that actually has any sort of alcohol flavor to it, and thats the "JD" flavor from true smoker (unfortunately i think it only comes in PG)...

every other alcohol flavor i have has that citrus smell and taste to it... wonder why that is

Have you tried Ms. T's bourbon juice yet? Aside from lacking the alcohol sting (I don't think I'll ever find that, or if it's even possible) it smells spot on to me and tastes very close. One morning as I was nursing a hangover I reached out and grabbed what I THOUGHT was her cake icing flavor, juiced up a cart and put it up to my mouth. The smell was so spot-on that it was nauseating.

I tried it again when not hung over and it was perfect.

I wanna try a GOOD whiskey flavoring like that but I wish it was 100% VG. I'm really not gonna spend any more money on anything that isn't. Larry at Viking Vapor told me that soon he will have a line of authentic alcohol flavorings, so I am going to wait until then.

Anyways,
After reading all the good reviews of viking vapor I ordered an initial 3 (pomagranite, peppermint, and blueberry). Before I had tried the flavors I ordered another 7 or 8 different flavors. All were 18mg nicotine with mixed PG and VG (I assumed this would be ~30% VG, but maybe it is less as the nic juice is very watery and vapor production is very low.)

I smoke everything using M602.

Flavor: Very intense. HOWEVER it is too sweet, everything i have tasted so far is like a candy version of what i ordered. ex) blueberry tastes more like blueberry candy than actual blueberry. This is in contrast to other fruit flavors i have tried (Johnsons Creek "Summer Peach". one of my favorites from them.) One flavor which can get away with this was the peppermint which also had a very nice menthol like throat hit and sinus clearning effect. Overall i was pretty disappointed considering all the great reviews.

Without adding my own VG flavor is a 5. With the VG it improves to ~7 maybe.


Vapor: almost none on every juice, added ~10% more VG by volume and improved the vapor alot in addition (reduced alot of the sweet candy flavor, making it overall taste better).

Im not sure what the mix ratio of PG to VG is but the "mix" selection vapor production is also very poor. Good for stealth vaping but reduces from the psychological effect of "smoke". Id give it a 4 or lower, however adding just 10% VG more by volume seems to offset this enough.

Throat Hit: 8-9 (No need for major improvements here)

tl;dr: too sweet. little vapor. good throat hit. improves with added VG.

100% VG? I need somewhat of a throat hit, since i used to smoke a pack a day. (It doesnt need to be burning but it needs to have somewhat of a kick)

Will 100% VG give me this?
My understanding was PG + nicotene increased the throat hit
while VG was better for vapor?

Can you let me know if 100% also gives a decent hit?

Before their site went down, they added some info about their throat hit enhancer. I just received my order of 9 different flavors and they all have this added to them. Larry was awesome enough to pull my order out of all the ones he'd just loaded up to take to the post office and add it for me on Friday. On the site he listed 3 different levels and I'm not sure which level mine would be at.
I should have some proper reviews later this week.

Haven't tried that one yet so i don't know. I just went to the site to order 60ml of banana creme and saw that they are having trouble with their vendor services.

The B.creme reminded me of banana laffy taffy and it is awesome.

Tell me VV what do you need to complete an order? check? money order? plasma? my dog???? take it just take it and send me banana creme in 24 mg!!!!!
