This fund raiser has been going on for a couple months now and there are only 30 supporters. There is only 50 days left for her to reach her $10,000 goal which is currently at 17%. You all did such a great job helping Jennifer Cook/Moorea of Phiniac.com which took a huge burden off her mind. Let's do the same for VintageCharm, a valued member of ECF. Here is her story:
This fundraiser is for our friend Coralie Drscoll who has recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
On Tuesday, November 20, 2012, Coralie received the news that she has breast cancer. Her doctors said it was an aggressive cancer, but in an early stage (2). We will have more to share after her appointment next Monday, November 26, when she will receive a full body scan and more information regarding the necessary treatments. What we do know is that Coralie's permanent part-time position does not provide medical insurance or benefits and she can use all the support she can get as she faces a period of loss of income and out of pocket medical expenses.
In the meantime, Coralie, an Assistant Care Worker for the disabled and mentally challenged, insists on completing the care of two of her most beloved patients despite learning of her own condition this week. In addition, on November 23, she received news from her only daughter that she will soon be a Nana. This has given Coralie a bigger resolve to fight this disease. Is it any wonder that we want to give her all the support we possibly can. Please support the Coralie Driscoll Fund. Any amount will help and be deeply appreciated!
Thank you for reading and thanks in advance for your support.
