I have recently purchased a VIP ECIGARETTE, its the best thing I have ever done. However, is there a certain type of eliquid I can use to refill the cartomisers? I bought some eliquid from simplyeliquid.com and it has an electrical burning taste. On the VIP website it says their cartomisers are not compatible with eliquid. I have done some research and think i may need to buy a VG based liquid. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ode, there is no such a thing as ANY ejuice not being compatible with ANY cartomizers (cartos). It's just difficult to find an ejuice that you really like, so you need to order sample sized juices (3-5 ml) from a few other suppliers. Use the Search box at the top right-hand side of the page and type in "ejuice". It will bring up thousands of posts from others here in their opinion of other suppliers juice. Keep in mind, tho, that just like with food, what a group of people may just LOVE, others (and maybe you) will NOT.

As far as PG vs. VG, it says on their website that they use PG-based juice ... I believe most of us here use an 80/20 ratio of PG/VG because even tho VG gives the most vapor, it can lessen the throat hit (TH) and mute the flavor.

Welcome to our site!

lcome to ECF!!

Checked the VIP website, and they claim each carto holds 0.7mL juice and is equal to 40 cigs, 2 packs,
HORSE PUCKEY !!!!.
Those claims are grossly exaggerated, I was a 1 1/2 pad smoker and use about 4-5mL per day, refilling my own cartos.

Juice doesn't know what cartos it's put into, the PG/VG ratio will make a difference, and it's mostly personal preference, find what suits you. The cartos they sell are made in the same Chinese factories as all other sellers, they are not unique in any way.

VG generally does not work well in slim ecig cartomizers. it's too thick and hard to use, hard to fill, hard for it to move through the stuffing fast enough to prevent singeing. if you have VG juice you can try thinning it with a few drops of distilled water. but it will still be pretty thick.

I use PG juices with 20% or less VG in cartomizers.

Re refilling? Some rebranders purposely sell cartos that are harder to get juice into. They use a hard end cap or glued-on end cap or use cartos with inner seals to thwart even trick methods of refilling or use crappy cartos with loose stuffing inside that is only good for the initial fill.

I looked at it - looks like RN4081, a $10 ecig from China (all slim ecigs are from China). OR it could be something 510-threaded. Or the mystery female threading.

At least they didn't jack the prices up much. See if you can get an endcap off the cartomizer. I have never used RN4081. If you can get an endcap off and can see stuffing you can add juice.

Some juices taste good and some don't. Try other juices. I do not recommend VG for slim ecig cartos. It will move slowly through the carto and you will probably taste singed stuffing

And be careful - you probably have auto batteries - if you get juice in the threaded end hole of any auto battery it can damage the drag switch or short and kill the battery.

I bought a ecigarette from the mall - same problem - cartos not universal and just not a very user friendly product. Spent like $90 the first 2 weeks in cartomizers that were supposed to be equivalent to several packs of cigarettes - such nonsense. Some of these vendors should be posted so that their false claims and incompatible equipment are put out of business. Not to deminish the success you are having but really burns me that they can just blatantly lie to take people's money and monopolize your future purchases.

+1 for Huffel and Mouse. Great advice and info. Those mall guys scare the life out of you with the bad info. By their calc I was vaping the equivalent of 4 packs of cigs a day. Liar liars.

I'm seeing cartos lately that can't be re-filled exactly as Mouse described. Hope it backfires and people get online faster to find a legit product.

I think this is whats wrong. The wadding in the cartimser has clear liquid in it but the one i received looks orange and seems much thcker. I'll try ordering some other stuff and see how it goes. THANKS!
