I've done a couple reviews before so I figured I'd give this a try. I just received my first order from VV yesterday afternoon and in it was a sample pack of Bella Amaretto, Kona Coffee Milkshake, and Maple French Toast. I also ordered a 1/4 ounce of Hot Buttered Rum and Vanilla Peach Swirl.
Hot Buttered Rum
Overview: I opened this one up first because I've never tried a rum flavored liquid before and it just sounded like it would be really good. I really like butterscotch flavors and I like drinking rum so (shrug), figured I'd like this. OMG! This flavor is amazing! Mine is 80/20 (PG/VG) and 24 mg without the extra flavor added. It looks completely clear to me and the same consistency as other 80/20 liquids I have used, maybe a little thinner in fact. It smells amazing, almost like the butter rum lifesaver candy. I have been vaping this since yesterday so I've had some time with it.
Flavor: On the inhale I can definitely taste the rum. Its sweet without being sickeningly sweet. It has a very nice TH to it. I like some TH, but not so much that it ravages my throat and this really delivers that right amount of TH. On the exhale I taste a very smooth, butterscotch flavor. It is very smooth and definitely a keeper. I can see this being really nice as an after dinner vape, but heck I could vape this all day long without complaining. It's just great right out of the box, imo.
Bella Amaretto
Overview: I tried this one next and put it to the test by vaping this after dinner. I put on a brand new atty for this flavor and I've had problems finding a good after dinner vape because no matter what I vape, it always seems to have some sort of peppery, spicy flavor and I was looking for some flavors without that since I dislike pepper in my liquids...not so bad on corn, but I don't want to vape it. lol This smelled heavenly when I opened the bottle and reminded me of these amaretto cookies I make over Christmas. I would say that I have probably spent about equal time with both the Hot Buttered Rum flavor and this one so here we go.
Flavor: On the inhale this flavor is very delicate definitely not as strong as the buttered rum. I can definitely taste the amaretto and it really sort of reminds me of Disaronno, my favorite alcoholic beverage. On the exhale I can almost taste some sort of cookie, much like the cookies I make at Christmas. It has a subtle sweetness to it and its just sort of a delicate, almost airy flavor (if that makes any sense). Think of sort of biting into an amaretto flavored, light as air cookie and I think you'd have a very good idea of what this tastes like. It produces clouds of vapor. Its just really amazing and I keep going back and forth between this one and the buttered rum.
Kona Coffee Milkshake
I'm not going to review this one since it's been reviewed by many already. I like it and will be ordering this one again because I taste some nutty undertones in this one and I'm really just enjoying it.
Maple French Toast
Overview: I'm vaping this one right now and I opened it early this morning to try with my morning coffee. I've only spent a few hours with it and to be honest this flavor sort of scared me. I have never vaped a liquid with maple in it, nor have I ever vaped French Toast. I know from cooking it a whole bunch of times that it does contain cinnamon and I was afraid that the cinnamon was going to completely overpower the flavor of the maple. This liquid has a sort of light amber color to it, but it is very clear. While it is a 100% VG liquid, it is not thick at all and has the same consistency as my 80/20 liquids. It smells just like French Toast and my daughter said, "OMG! I might have to vape just to try this flavor" (she never smoked and she's 15 so she's not seriously going to - lol).
Flavor: On the inhale I can definitely taste the maple syrup and even the buttery taste of the actual bread. I've never really tasted bread in a liquid before although I have vaped flavors that were supposed to be a bread or cookie. It does taste just like French Toast that has been buttered and lightly drizzled with maple syrup. On the exhale I can taste the cinnamon, but it is subtle and surprisingly does not take over. I think I detect a little nutmeg, or vanilla, perhaps both. I just had to switch attys and drip a few more drops of this to make sure, yep...definitely nutmeg and vanilla undertones here. I will be definitely ordering a larger size of this one. Its a great way to start the day.
I haven't spent much time with the Vanilla Peach Swirl because I think it needs to steep for a few days in order for the flavors to mingle a little bit. So I will revisit this one at a later date. In short, I will definitely be ordering large 1 oz. bottles of the Bella Amaretto, Maple French Toast and Hot Buttered Rum flavors. I'm also going to throw in a 1/2 oz. of the KCM next week when I place my second order. I can honestly say I really don't want to return to my previous tobacco flavors and would be totally content just not to buy liquids from anywhere else. They are all just THAT good. Thank you so much Annette, these flavors ROCK! I am also thinking that with that next order I will throw in another sampler pack with some Mango Mint Julep, Kir Royale, and perhaps Banana Coconut Colada. I also must try the Caramel Kona Milkshake.
