There is normally one in Richmond VA yearly but I'm not 100% sure of this year yet. Your right, The B&M stores that are avail seem to be tailored to the "un-educated" folks just getting into e-cigs and not like the ones we order from all the time on here. I have thought hard about opening one in our area that would tailor the beginner and experienced vapor alike. I have a little too many things going on right now and a few pennies short to start it.

I do hope that they hold vapercon, I started in November of last year, and just missed it.

Yes, My genesis attys burn threw juice like a V8 engine and I'm still saving a ton of money. Nothing fancy though, I vape tobacco blends and switch flavors almost daily.

Doing DIY here now too. BUT they did have a lot of sampling of juices going on. I know I'll be sampling, and when the newest 'vanilla-grape-monkey snot' or 'minty maple mango' seems like a winner, I'll buy 10ml, bring home, and try to duplicate.

I'm in nova. Sterling to be exact. It doesn't look like much goes on here ad far as vaping goes. It's a shame really. I think the area is overlooked. I see quite a few vapors in the wild. Not a B&M for 40-50 miles. With all the trendy yuppies and money floating around here a vape shop would make a killing. If I could come up with the capital I would open one in a second. Does anyone know of a vape convention in this area?

There's a local group near you, lovely group of people. They often meet in either Warrenton or Fairfax. I used to attend monthly back when I lived in Sterling. I'm in Virginia Beach now and can't make it up there. Search for "midatlantic vapers" on FB for upcoming meet info.

Is he going to be competitive with the "other" online vendors? I ask because it would be nice to have a local vendor to drop into that I could pick up wick/wire/whatever that is comparative to the online prices we are use to. Save shipping for us.

B+M store tend to be a little higher than online only.stores. I'll gladly shop there tho because I dislike waiting for the mail...... and, Jay is a hell of a guy.

The only time a vendor has a brick and a mortar stores thats as cheap as online is if their online business is doing well enough to eat some of the higher cost associated with a retail location, like lights, water, phone and rent etc.

MadVapes can do it because of their tremendous online sales and following.A brick and mortar to them is another feather in their cap and they arent as concerned about breaking even as someone who only owns a retail store would be.

Rent, lights, water and all of that translates into higher prices.The tradeoff is you dont have to wait

That being said, I dont mind paying more for convenience and good knowledgeable service.Jay and his partner are two of the most knowledgeable people Ive had the pleasure of talking to, especially when it comes to vaping.
