Well all of you that are from or around the Richmond tri-city areas should try to make it to blackbirds pre-vapercon meet this Saturday
hardly! 
southside virginia, as defined by official sources, indicates the south boston/danville area 
2hrs 35 min. You wont see as much traffic on the west side and the way you would come up. Rode my bike through Bedford (actually Blue Ridge Pkwy) on my way home thursday.

Thank you! We rode our bike a few hundred miles into Blue Ridge Parkway starting off rt 410 ( i believe it was ) about 10 miles from Bedford entrance. It was one of the most beautiful rides ever. The Peaks of Otter so very beautiful !!!!!

Wife & I just got back from 2500 + miles on the RoadGlide. We rode from home (Ruther Glen, Va) to Waynesboro, Va via I64 to the BRP entrance. Rode it to Cherokee, NC with the remnants of Isaac on top of us. It was scary to say the least. Riding into all those tunnels practically blind, using only the center yellow as a guide. Plan was to go to Key West... But when we got down to south of Ocola, FLA and visited my mom a little... We saw the weather up in the Blueridge and Smokies was going to be great. So we rode back to SC, grabbed "moonshiner" 28 to Deals Gap, found a cabin, rode around a bit... Then hit BRP entrance @ Cherokee and rode BRP back north. We stopped @ Little Switzerland for a night... and planned on stopping at Peaks of Otter lodge, but it looked close... So we rode on home. Cut our vacation 2 days early
But it was a great riding.
Fredericksburg, VA here. Wanted to make it down to Vapercon, but I just don't see it happening this year unfortunately. :/
Hello from Highland Springs. Gets kinda lonely vapin around here sometimes so this thread is awesome to see so many locals. Wish I could make it to the pre-vapercon meet, but we have out of town guests with us this weekend. Hope to meet lots of you at Vapercon, though. I'm planning on getting my 1st mod there, we'll see. I missed out last year this will be awesome. Plus October 12 is my 1 year vapiversary, no better way to celebrate than Vapercon!
I see that as no better time to do it. And highland springs isn't that lonely. You have a vendor there. He doesn't have a store front yet but, legit to deal with.

I've been to almost all of them... Usually have a pretty nice turnout, and their place is perfect... Bar, pool table, TV area, music, tables. Plus they are great people. BYB, and something to add to the potluck.
Alas fon shooter, this will be my first. Trying to get my bro in law to go to. Or ill be riding solo......
