Vision CE5 issues?

I bought one of these to replace my old dual coil tank system as the paint was badly flaking off it. Firstly what resistance should I have picked for a bog standard 1100mAh ego battery? I had the choice of 1.8, 2.4,3.2? I went for 1.8

I had a fake one of these of eBay and it worked so well I decided to buy the official one but I am not overly happy with it. Firstly I am getting plenty of vapour but throat hit is minimal, I use decadant vapours liquid, secondly I have noticed the centre part flooding leading to a glugging sound, I have noticed when inhaling the liquid getting sucked up the way which then must go down the centre tube leading to the flooding, and last but not least I have found myself when trying to unscrew it from the battery opening the entire thing and losing the eliquid. Grrrr.

Anyone else have these issues? I have to say the fake one worked much better but its cartomiser is non replaceable.

that sucks you can't replace it, sometimes knockoffs can be better than the real thing. I have not tried the ce5's yet but I was looking at them a few days ago and in the reviews saw a lot of people seem to prefer anywhere from 1.8 thru 2.4. Good luck!

Give the CE5+ a try. It has a replaceable coil. The CE5 is a good unit, its just not suppose to last forever. I find the 5+ actually does a better job of wicking than the 5, but i've not used a bunch of them. I'm using the H2 now which is a bottom wick system, and quite enjoy it.

I picked up a CE5+ with a replacement coil and when I changed the coil so the original could dry, it leaked after I filled it with juice. It didn't leak when I filled it when the original coil was in there.

UPDATE: problem solved. The CE5+ was missing an o-ring, so I took the o ring out of a dead clearo and replaced it on the new one.
