I'm very pleased with the bunch that I'm currently using. They're not amazing, but give a very acceptable performance and are so easy to use and maintain. I'm happy to stick with them for the foresable future.
They seem to draw better than the standard versions, and wick better too. If you can find some of the longer-wick heads, go for those. I was a bit on the fence with the whole long or short wicks, but in this case I've noticed even more of a difference. I've even replaced the wicks for longer ones and they really suck-up the
juice now. Having said that, even the shorter wicked heads don't suffer from dry hits as easily as the standard version Visions. You do still need to tip your PV between draws to keep the wicks wet though.
If you're getting a twist, I would recommend that you keep to the normal ego-like voltages with the stock 2.4ohm heads, and go for the higher resistance ones if you want to experiment. The standard ones don't play nicely with loads of power.
Be careful to only fill to the top of the measuring line too. The old versions were more forgiving in this respect, but it seems easier to get
juice into the air tube with these if you go mad while filling. Not really a problem once you're aware of it though.
I've got a bunch of the older version that I've been cleaning and dry burning for around six weeks and they're still going strong. With these, I've got a few replacement heads and a long length of wick and I see this lasting much, much longer. My next step is to try and re-coil them too. Some vendors here in the UK are also doing replacement tubes too.
I'd say go for it. There's a bit of a learning curve like most pieces of gear, but it's well worth trying them out.
