Why can I only get 1 ml in the 1.5 ml regular and how much taller is the 2.5 ml mini? Or is it just fatter?

I think the 2.5 is mostly just fatter. But it's capacity is realistically closer to two, not 2.5.
I think, no verification on this but my idea is, that the capacity is figured by the volume of the tube and doesn't take into account the airflow tube and the wick which also takes up space.
